You must be one of the most complete reactors currently listening to Dimash and by complete I mean you analyze his whole performance, the vocals, the stage performance including body movements and positioning, the stage set up and lighting and the instrumentation, that is a whole lot of analysis going on and you don't miss much, you have such a keen eye and ear. This is wonderful, can't wait for next Wednesday and it's a vote for "Hello". (If you aren't familiar with the original Lionel Ritchie song, can I suggest you listen to it a couple of times before watching Dimash's astonishing cover.)
Yes, I agree with you completely. The full experience analysis is so good, haven't seen anyone to it to that extent. And that's a good point to listen to the original 'Hello' first. That is an amazing song already, and then Dimash takes it above and beyond in the way only he can. Xo

You have a long road of Dimash ahead of you. Personally, I believe he's historically the greatest singer ever. Whenever you may get to these 3 songs, it would be best to go to Gloria Wu's channel for their background stories; "Daybreak", "Autumn Strong" and "Daididau". Besides working with Dimash, Igor also is working with Diana Ankudinova who I also recommend very highly.

My favourite is "Later Autumn". Even though he does not use all his vocal greatness there this is the song I am crying every time I am listening to it.

@@miguelpereira9859 Dimash is by far my favorite singer, and I feel his is the best version of almost every cover he's done, including the original! But I have to agree, Show Must Go On is impressive vocally, but I felt like a bit of the meaning of the song was lost in that case. There are actually other singers whose covers of that song I prefer, which is saying a lot, as I said I almost always prefer Dimash's version, by far! The same goes for Adagio, I felt like some of the meaning of the lyrics were lost with the octave jumps & gymnastics. But it's really only those 2 songs that I prefer certain other singer's interpretations, and Dimash's covers of them were still very great!

I agree with several other comments that you should do Diva Dance from Bastau, but because it's so short, add Daybreak from the same concert. Also, Opera 2, Autumn Strong, Hello and Adagio all from Singer, Unforgettable Day Gakku which shows Dimash's highest note yet, Know from 2019 New Wave and his most recent concert uploaded to his channel called Vocalise (it's the same music as Know but a Vocalise which is BEAUTIFUL), Your Love and my absolute favorite of them all, The Love of Tired Swans from the Kremlin!
The vocalising version for Know is called Ascolta la Voce.He preferred it for his latest concerts this spring.Maybe a good idea would be a reaction to both versions,the one with lyrics,Know,and the vocalisation one,Ascolta la Voce,from St Petersburg or Kiev concert.The one from Kiev is on Dimash UA-cam channel

I stumbled across your page by accident but I'm glad I did. You have a singularly unique perspective on these artists. You understand the music but you also understand the production of the product. I've learned so much from you (from only 3 or 4 videos) about how every little thing that most of us do not notice is so important in making an intended impression, or conveying a particular message or emotion. I totally agree with the Vitas comment. As opposed to Dimash, I find Vitas arrogant, cheesy and very insincere - he is all about 'hey, look at me', while Dimash is all about the music and sharing a deep emotional connection with his Dears. Sorry to any Vitas fans but he actually makes my skin crawl.

Great eye and ear for detail. Its hard to listen to regular music at times after discovering Dimash. But itsa challenge to listen and appreciate his amazing detail of delivery. Which is the best part. Dimash is something that happens to you. Its an immersive full body and mind experience.

My favourite is definitely the ice rink version. But I just love all his songs cause I love his voice haha! And love the approach to the instrumentation, it always flows beautifully with the vocal line whichever composer he's with be it Igor or himself at the pen.

Здесь похоже на «Грешную страсть» (порассуждал, как Димаш может тянуть «микроволны» так долго)».

When you go back and watch later, give yourself a chance to just FEEL the song. You naturally do a lot of analyzing which I do think is great. I just think you could be missing an emotional component....something not quantifiable with words....when you stop so frequently to notice each detail. So on your own, in one of the 20 times you watch it again, take a moment and just try to experience the song and receive the story he's weaving for you. Dimash's best talent, beyond any high note is his ability to emote the song and transfer those emotions directly into your soul. Made many a grown man cry. Just sayin. It's a side of him you are brushing up against by not fully experiencing yet. At least not on camera.
Definitely something that I do with all the songs I react to. Watch most of them, especially dimash, multiple times afterwards

Because of Dimash, I want to erase my memory, watch them again and go crazy like when I first saw it. when I first heard his songs, I jumped like crazy, ran left and right, I didn’t understand what was happening to me, he turned my heart over, day and night his sounds were in my heart and head, it seemed to me that I was seeing an angel with open eyes, he is so beautiful and his every movement and glance speaks more about him than his songs, for me he is simply a miracle on earth, this does not happen, he is unique and that says it all.

Thank you for another great reaction! I highly recommend "Daybreak" from his Bastau solo concert in 2017. It's a very powerful and emotional song and it was orchestrated so brilliantly in Bastau! It's a song about a young boy who lost his parents in an accident. Gloria Wu's channel does an excellent job giving the backstory of it (and for many other Dimash's songs as well), but Gloria Wu is covering his Singer performances. If you do watch Gloria Wu's video, just watch the intro with the song's backstory, but don't react to the performance there for two reasons: First, the Singer version is not as good as the Bastau one, but secondly, Gloria Wu is slowing down the songs a bit to avoid copyright strikes, so you won't listen the song to the correct pitch and sound. The Bastau version is epic, the sound is awesome and it's copyrights free!! :)

I really like the way you pick up the little details in Dimash's performance. Apart from his spectacular voice, his facial expressions, his hand gestures, his stance, everything about him is just pure raw talent! Yes he has studied over 20 years to get to where he is but it takes more than studying, this man was born for the stage and I believe he is going to be a legend. I would recommend you take his New York concert and split it up and do a reaction because there you will also see his unbelievable chemistry with the audience and how he casts everyone under his spell. Never again have Americans or any ethnicity for that matter sang along with the singer a kazakh or Russian song as it is not their language and yet he has managed to get us to learn just about anything. He has overcome the language barrier as no one else I have ever seen and united people from all over the world through his heavenly voice.

The last line goes: "Puskai ne konchitsya ona". The last word means "it" in Russian, referring to "love". One does not clearly articulates unstressed vowels in Russian. So that "o" in fact is half way between "o" and "a" sounds. And yes, one can clearly hear an "h" before!

Thank you for you reaction, and comments. It is a pleasure to hear what you have to say about everything. Dimash does everything with purpose. He is in full control of how his body moves, down to his hands, that sing with him, every note he sings, including his vibrato. He is amazing to watch, and listen to. Igor Krutoy said in an interview, the "Ave Maria" was entirely Dimash's idea to add it to the song. He just felt it needed to be there.
