Hi Liz, this is regarding white card or white paper. I am visiting Belgrade and apply for setting up a business. The airbnb host said he can register me online when I arrive. Almost all airbnb hosts say that. Can they register me online and send me an actual white paper? They dont seem to give me clear answers... I hope you can help me with information. thank you
They should be able to however that white card from the online application will not be accepted by the police if you open a business. I mention this in the video as well. The white paper that you get from the online portal will only allow you to legally stay in Serbia for the duration of your tourist visa.

Anyway, would you know any accommodation I can stay in Belgrade that the owner will be willing to accompany me in the police station for this white paper? Nope, although when you come into the office to submit your papers, they like to speak Serbian at you. I would recommend bringing someone who speaks Serbian (if you don't speak it yourself) with you to avoid any awkward situations.

I want to share some information about obtaining a residence permit based on entrepreneurial activities in Serbia. First, you need to register as an entrepreneur. However, you cannot work officially until you have a residence permit and the right to work. Despite this, you need to maintain your entrepreneur in unfrozen status by paying mandatory fees of about 300 euros per month. The waiting period for a residence permit is currently 3 to 6 months. This means that in the worst-case scenario, you could end up paying 1800 euros for nothing. This can be challenging, especially considering the additional expenses such as rent and meals. It's difficult to manage this period while waiting for the residence permit.

So, if you are alone you must have something about 2500-3000 euro in the first month.

Hi there, not sure when you sent her the messages, but she usually responds during working hours, the standard, 9-6pm Mon-Fri. However, I believe she is currently on holidays, not sure when exactly she will be back, but she will probably respond to you then. I guess in the meantime, you can go through the videos and see what the requirements for your citizenship is and start some prep work by yourself. If you need additional help, you can also join, Belgrade Foreign Visitors Club on Facebook, they are the largest community of foreigners in Serbia on the internet and we always help one another there.
