Experienced "novice" here. What I find missing is responsiveness to iPhone browsers. The background image gets messed up and can not, it seems, get set to "fixed". I could be wrong on this. I also found Elementor Pro seems to have issues with rendering images, especially fixed, to cell phone browsers. So the cellphone needs to be consulted almost continuously when making these sorts of edits and adjustments in Elementor. Thanks for your video non-the-less.
There was a time not that long ago when fixed backgrounds and parallax was not supported on any phone. Fast forward to now and fixed background support is still pretty spotting. Your best bet is have a static background image set for mobile. I hope that helps :) Thanks for watching!
@@wplearninglab Yes it does, and that is what I resorted to.. Just in case you don't hear this, thank you for making this stuff a bit more easier for the rest of us.
I don't have one for that. Can you describe what sort of artistic adjustments and enhancements you're looking for and I can look into making a video for it.
Fixed background and parallax are NOT the same thing. A parallax effect moves the background image slightly up or down while scrolling across it, giving an effect somewhat similar to looking through a window and moving up and down.
This is only for desktop view. Is there. way to have it for mobile and tablet view. I have a background I am using for my entire homepage and it looks great on desktop but loses the affect on smaller devices
By default mobile devices don't allow parallax because it requires big images and that hurts load times. I think I may have a found a work around to make a form of parallax work on mobile. If it works I'll make a video for it. Stay tuned!
Hey Sunil, From what I understand you can't add social profiles directly to your Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business). What you do is add the proper schema markup for your social profiles to your website. Then you add your websites to your Google Business Profile. And eventually, when Google crawls your site and if you have the proper schema markup, it will associate your social profiles with your Google Business Profile automatically.
Wondering how can you work out what size image you need? I have a 2 column container and the image on the left but I cant get it to display properly when I fix it. Any tips would be appreciated. 🙂
Unfortunately, fixing background images isn't an exact science. If you need a specific part of the image to be displayed with it's fixed to the background you'll need to play around with the image cropping until it's how you want it. It'll be a bit of a pain.
Hello, I am having trouble with this effect when I choose an image slider as a background for my hero container. The "attachement: fixed" button seems to be missing. What should I do in this case? I cannot find a css that solves my problem. :
@@jfhailey2438 @Cool Step Hello, good news, I have found a way around it. 1. Create a container and select the size, choose the "slide-show" option and select your images. 2. Go to advanced and make the position "fixed". This may make the container disappear because it has gone to the back. 3. Create a new container with no background and make it the same size as your slideshow background. The original container will be visible through this blank container. 4. Done! This should give you the effect you want.
Hello sir, if I buy a cloudwayas digital ocean hosting..and if I host 7 website in that single hosting..then will I be able to choose different server location for those 7 website as their nearest traffic location? Pls rply
The first thing you do in Cloudways is create a server. Then you create an Application (WordPress in this case) on that server. You can choose the location of the server. Then any Application (WordPress site) installed on that server will be in that location. The solution is to have an account that lets you create multiple servers. Each of which can be in a different location. I hope that helps!
Mobile browsers are to play. I'm looking into alternative methods to create parallax on mobile browser. When I've found one that works I'll make a video for it.
@jequesimoes8402 Not yet. Im getting ready to redo/update a site with a new look. When I figure it out ill report back here how its done on mobile. I know it can be I've seen it before on elementor. Might be css ill post the code here if thats the trick.

Thanks for this video!! Is there a way to do it with video? Or would it be "too much"? :D

Do you have a video on changing background images and making artistic adjustments and enhancements?

True Ian, good catch. But they're soooooo close when it comes to websites.

The attachment icon doesn't show if you're trying to make a slideshow. It just works for a single image.
Thanks. This also applied to my issue trying to get a video background to be fixed.@@parutosan

Do you mean on mobile? As far as I know, most mobile devices don't support parallax effects with their built-in browers.
Ok Thanks for replying
Have you used elementor pro?
