I was understanding quite well till you started working on the cuffs, first i didn’t know what you wanted to achieve especially with the folds, it would have helped if you put a picture example of the kind of cuff you wanted to achieve to help us out the pieces together rather than just doing everything at once and waiting to the end to see result. It was difficult to follow through. Secondly it would have helped to state reasons for doing certain steps instead of just going through it as though everyone was on the sane page with you..but regardless i appreciate the work done in creating this videos keep it up 👍, this are just tips to help make understanding easier in future videos
would be helpful to build this pattern in stages and check the status on the 3-D model. In this tutorial we make everything and then simulate which means it must be perfect, if not it’s very hard to find and fix even small errors that were made earlier in the process. I also have the same issue as UVZIB, no matter what the button stand simulates totally twisted up after several attempts.
Once the buttons are in place you can select them and remove collision; this will keep the button more stable. my button fly turns out wonky all the time...I have the seams turned like in the video but it always looks blown up and i cant get it flat...what to do? :(

Depending on the resolution of your screen, the tool may be hidden. The name of the tool has been changed. You are looking for Attach to Measure. The Edit Measure [Avatar] tool is the top tool on that particular set of tools.

When you use the button and button holes tools (3D tool bar) and apply to the garment, those symbols will be added in 2D automatically as a Baseline You may find this Beginner video about Buttons and Trims more helpful to start ua-cam.com/video/I7HtqyPhK_w/v-deo.html

purple/blue dashed lines are Base Lines. They can only be selected using the Trace tool and are often used to mark out lines in other programs, but as they are not always needed in CLO they come in as Baselines. We do recommend the beginner series linked above to learn more of the foundational CLO skills
If you are still new to CLO we may recommend taking a look at our beginners guide to CLO videos which go over all the different types of sewing. Otherwise you may need to pause at times with this video to see which tool is selected/highlighted

I'm so tired of finding these videos only to see that these patterns cannot be used for the real world. What is it for then, why have these? Whos is just making simulations of shirts that cannot be made in the real world? Those cuffs make no sense, there's no such thing as a raw fabric cuff, cuffs are folded over and sewn.

@@CLO3D Your website and product advertises that clo is production ready with less need to revisit real life sampling, but most of the tutorials you provide, the faqs on your website, your documents are closer to what marvelous designer is used for. For example looking on how to make a placket today, I went to your website and found a FAQ. The faq doesn't tell you how to make or fold a placket, only to simulate a placket's thickness. This is a common occurrence with this software.
Most CLO videos are easy to flow with, but for some reason this teacher is hard to follow, would love to see this video redone
Sorry you are struggling with this... the video is a good workflow that was done 18 months ago. No need to redo it.

You are correct. You would have to build it, download it from our CONNECT Marketplace or use the Modular Configurator.
it is not very clear which sewing type she uses at each moment, since she goes fast over it, and segment sewing tool and MN sewing is different.
