    I really enjoyed your video. I have a hydro class, but don't have the straw cap. I like how narrow it is for my small hands, but I would definitely want the Yeti for camping and hiking!

    This is where I’m at! I need a bottle that I can use one hand. Yeti looks like the easier carry but HF looks a little more low-key, and their coffee kid has a handle, yeti’s does not.
    I’ll watch this like 10 more times trying to decide, but camelbak eddy stainless is also in the competition. Extra opinions please!

    I like the yeti straw lid. I have 2 yeti 36oz bottles, one with a chug cap, the other with the straw lid. I don't like drinking from the rim of the bottle, especially since I'm really good at spilling on myself when drinking.

    Don’t have a yeti, don’t have a problem with my HF leaking, so for the price & my needs I’ll stick with the HF.

    Does the Yeti straw fall off mid drink like the Hydroflask straw tends to?

  • @dianar1138

    I just want a lid that is just like that Contigo that you push and the piece pops up. the 20 oz bottle
    with covid i want the least contact as possible.(as in the twist hydroflask lid) But also the problem with my contigo is the handle has hit the seat heat button or the
    emergency button. its where the mazda cx-30 drink holders are.
    please take note Hydro Flask, as otherwise I love your bottles.

    I have just got the Yeti straw cap for my 18oz bottle i do like it but still prefer the chug cap! I have used Hydro flask bottles not tried their straw cap though!
    I only use Yeti now as its just so robust and the steel is much thicker than Hydro flask but the trade off is the heft? But i like the weight personally!
    Both brands are not as cult here in the UK as in the good old US but have managed to get two or three different colours so far.

    Will the ThermoFlask keep my coffee hot? I'm new to these and I just bought a 32oz one according to web site they do , but everyone I talk to uses them for cold drinks... Any help thanks?

    The only issue I have with the yeti is the straw resistance when trying to drink. The hydroflask feels so smooth and doesn’t feel like I have to suck (pause) as hard on the yeti. Can I use the hydro cap/straw with the yeti bottle? ˙◠˙

    Well, I just got an Iron Flask, and I love it. Yetti looks excellent, too, though. It seems like they both have ups and downs. I think the essential thing is that we're drinking water 😁

    I own two Yeti Ramblers, each with it's own Straw Cap Lid.
    I'm having the same issue with both.
    The issue is most of the time, if you screw the lid on all the way, it's near impossible to suck any liquid out. If you back the lid off the threads quite a bit, then you can drink from the straw.
    I've cleaned out that little pin/rubber seal with a toothpick, but that doesn't make any difference.
    The strange thing is that SOMETIMES when I thread the cap on, it works perfectly, but most of the time it doesn't work at all.
    It's driving me crazy, and since both Lids on both Ramblers exhibit the same behavior I have to believe it's a flaw somewhere but I can't figure out what is causing it.
    Have you run into this? Thanks!

    • @mattfitzsimmons7421
      @mattfitzsimmons7421 2 роки тому +3

      your straw is probably either not pushed into the hole far enough or not cut short enough. this will cause it to suction against the bottom making it difficult to actually drink anything

    Does the Yeti fit the Hydro Flask bottle?

    • @doctapeppa76
      @doctapeppa76 2 роки тому +1

      No. The Yeti treads on the inside and the Hydro threads on the outside.

    Hey quick question! The part of the straw you drink from is it silicone???

    • @sheilasanchez5625
      @sheilasanchez5625 3 роки тому

      Asking because I like to bite into my straws and that’s uncomfortable if the straw is hard plastic instead of silicone

    • @parisgirlish

      They’re both hard plastic. Same material as the cap.

    Good video however dude trippin I’ve had my hydro flask for almost a year and use it everyday and never had an issue leaking. I can toss and flip it upside down with the straw lid and it never leaked a drop
