Fantastic video😊😊😊 Till last year I worked at Yeoi-do in front of Mapo-bridge, so every evening I cycled on the Hangang bike path. I remembered riding at hangang.
Hooray! Glad to help bring back the memories! Thank you for the appreciation! Cheers!
Could you imagine if only Manila could have a bike path like that. Maybe Luneta through the coastline of Manila Bay to Cavite City. Cycling is more fun riding on bike paths like that. More safer and enjoyable without the traffic. Another great ride John John. Cheers from Cali 🍻
Wouldn’t that be awesome here, @green archer 77? And with the right facilities, imagine commuters preferring that route to sitting in gridlocked traffic! Wonderful dream. Cheers to you in Cali! 🍻
Woohoo 1,000th viewer! Do I get a prize? Haha cheers buddy!
Haha @ed velasco! Indeed you do buddy! You get a free beer from me when I see you next😜. Cheers!!🍻
Every single bridge in Seoul is bike/pedestrian friendly, finding a way up from the han path can sometimes be hard, but you can always cross it.
Thank you for that! I’m so envious of the infrastructure there @john! Cheers! 🍻
Better than no fun at all, John-John! 40% of fun is already 100% for me😀
Haha! Isn’t that enough @alain magbual? It has to be fun to be worth it, right? Haha! Cheers! 🍻
New JJB vlog, perfect with black coffee! 🚴🏽
Haha! Thank you for the encouragement @cj rodolfo! Cheers! 🍻
The long and winding spectacular river parkway. What a great outdoor for the cities inhabitants. Very classy and proud citizens. I'm dreaming one day, our country to be a top-notch in Asia...More cadence and have a good one.
Yes! The citizens are so lucky there! And I share that dream for us too @jaime G! Cheers! 🍻
That Seoulo Ride was indeed fun! Thanks for confirming the grass is indeed greener on the other side!😂. Makes me wish we had bike lanes like that in NCR at least! Clark is a good example.
Hope you were able to check out Hotteok. Can't wait for part 2! Also saw the news about the recent flooding in parts of Seoul. Hope you and your family are safe. Cheers! 🤙😀🍻🚲
Haha! I’m glad you got the humor, @rein mutuc. My sons are my Editors and they sometimes kinda roll their eyes at my Dad Jokes! 🤣 I’m glad you enjoyed the ride. And yes I was lucky to ride there when the weather was still awesome. Cheers! 🍻
@@JohnJohnBIKES Glad to hear that! They're the only jokes that I manage to crack lately. Ahahaha. Cheers!🤙😀
@@reinmutuc8999 hahaha!🤣
Another super video John 2. Looks like you're having a good time.
Thank you for the encouragement @gary haynes! And yes it’s a wonderful place to ride your bike! 🍻🎊🎉
Watching now with my morning coffee. Annyeong JJB!
Gamsahabnida X! And Happy Friday! 🎊🎉🍻
Another Friday treat! 🤙
Haha! Happy Friday, @bryan San Jose! Cheers!
Another Wow 😲 have fun and always ride safe Sir JJB 👍🍻
Thank you for the encouragement and support @Ij Capitan! Cheers! 🍻
Finally, a new vid. Hopefully, next vid is a bit far away from the city. Probinsya feels ala SoKor. Cheers!
Haha! I hope you enjoy the ride, @venjie indefonso! Cheers! 🍻
Very nice scenic route! Wish we have something like that here in manila.
And I wish for that too @meat gaming! Cheers! 🍻
JJB absolutely living the cyclist life! Cheers!
And absolutely loving it @philpit! Cheers! 🍻
Did you get a chance to visit any nice bike shops there? Any recos? Would love to bring back a unique bidon as a souvenir
Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to visit a bike shop there @pauline tan. The only time I was close to one was at the Yangsu Station (see the end of that Episode) and even then I was only outside. 🤦🏻♂️
awesome SEOULo ride! 💯👍
Haha! Yes indeed it was, @dcv! Cheers! 🍻
Love your Moots, man. My friends who owned titanium road and mountain bike chose either Moots or Seven - both produce such quality, beautiful ti bikes. I've been eyeing the Van Nicholas ti touring bikes ... maybe for my retirement gift! LOL! For the time being, I'm cool with my Bianchi Specialissima and Specialized Allez, and I would LOVE to ride the Four Rivers Ride in So. Korea! Hopefully next year! Cheers, John.
Thank you for the encouragement! And I don’t know about the 4 rivers tour, but maybe that could be a good reason to return 😜. Cheers! 🍻
@@JohnJohnBIKES Absolutely! It's a 633km ride on much of the bicycling trail/infrastructure that the So. Korean gov't constructed for its people and visitors/tourists. It starts in Seoul (NW) and roughly follows the path of 4 rivers to Busan (SE). There are a lot of YT vids on this ride, this is one of them that's pretty nice. Cheers! ua-cam.com/video/vCG8q9q0GOA/v-deo.html

Watching sir. Ride safe
I hope you enjoyed the ride, @solo siklista! Cheers! 🍻
Hey JJ, great rides eveytime, just want to ask where did u buy your Philippine RCC colored jersey? Thanks
@jie NiniFranco we at RCCMNL had that made a while back by Rapha Custom when they still provided the custom service. Unfortunately they stopped that service so you cannot buy that anymore. But thank you for asking. Cheers! 🍻
You didn’t reach the Olympic park? It’s along the river
Oh I didn’t know that @tjgato! I guess I’ll just have to visit again! 😜. Cheers! 🍻
👍👍👏👏👏🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🇫🇷🇫🇷👏
merci, @alain pryt!
Hope you can try it here in Singapore, one day, bro JJ. Ride safe!
Ohhhh I’d love to ride in Singapore @nel b. Thank be been there many times for business, and I’d love to fly over this time for fun! Cheers!
@@JohnJohnBIKES let me know once you are here. We can do round the island (RTI) around 120km or some fav climbs here. Ride safe as always!
@@nelb.4976 that would be awesome! thank you for the offer
Is that both pedestrian and bike lane? How nice.
Primarily a bike lane @serengetisenora, then there are portions where there is an extra lane for pedestrians but I found those usually near the areas of the on-ramps and off-ramps.
Love the ending! Thought you’d take us to see the inside of their public toilet.
That was the Men’s Room, @marnie torrres. Yours is on the other side. Haha! 😜
Great ride Sir John-John! There are many bridges along Han river where bikes can cross on both sides. How long are you staying in Seoul. Would like to me you and take you on a tour but I'm now in the Philippines. Ride safe!
Thanks for the encouragement and the offer to ride with you @thoan71! That’s much appreciated! Maybe that only means I’ll have to go back for another vacation in Seoul! 🤣 Cheers! 🍻
@@JohnJohnBIKES Looking forward to it!
are you korean?
@@flowerkenji5320 I'm Filipino po 😄
@@bikechingu I thought you were Korean 😅
John john!! Camino De Santiago next…only 200k!
Ooooh now That would be wonderful, @serengetisenora! 🤩 Cheers!
That's a long bike route. I guess you could say it's WALANG HANGANG RIVER BIKE PATH? Hihi
I hope you and your family are safe. I hear Seoul was hit with the heaviest rainfall in 80 years.
Haha! I noticed that too about the word Hangang! Haha! And yes, all good. But my thoughts are still with the many people in Seoul 🙏🏼
Pano mo malalaman kapag bawal ka na pala sa highway? Been watching some other videos and still cant figure it out haha as in talagang sa sidewalks lang?
You have to watch out for the Bicycle markings. If none on the road, I would check the sidewalk. More likely than not, you will see it either on the road OR the sidewalk. Either way, they encourage the use of bikes. Cheers!🍻
Parang for good kana dyan sir john hahaha... May mga ahon ba dyan? Hwhhehe
Haha! Seoul is not flat @jdcp! I learned that the hard way🤣 Cheers! 🍻
@@JohnJohnBIKES i see.. Mukhang nag eenjoy ka dyan sir.. Hahaha...
@@jdcp haha! it’s a great place to ride your bike!
Hanggang saan?
Hahaha! You just made me doublecheck now if I really spelled it correctly 🤣
Are you still in Korea? I moved from Songdo to Seoul this week and I haven't explored the city yet. If ever you're planning a route this Sunday, maybe I can tag along! Thanks!
It would be fun to ride with you @ray juan, but I’m no longer there. You will enjoy the city, just be patient with all the climbing you have to do to get around 🤣. PS if you have time you can look at at the other JJB rides in Korea. Hope you have as much fun as I did! Cheers! 🍻
@@JohnJohnBIKES too bad I didn't catch you. I cheched your other videos though, maybe I'll get myself some gpx files like you did to see those routes! Maybe next time. Thanks!
@@rayjuan8133 have good fun!
So you enter a toilet and suddenly "end of part 1", lol....Just shows how our country is so lagging behind our neighbors in terms of infrastructure. Super cool pic u took under the bridge, with Vivian and that passing guy on a bike. The bike path although nice, doesnt seem to be very conducive for group rides, plus the 20 kmh makes it more a leisure ride. By the way, aren't you supposed to waive or say hi to fellow cyclists 😃? cheers JJ !
Yes!! That’s what I noticed too, @tony air! I’m very used to happily greeting cyclists that you meet on the roads, or pass, or that pass you! But it seems that isn’t the cycling culture there. At least from what I observed. At times it even felt that I was intruding their space with a greeting, even with just a quick wave. So I decided that ummm When In Rome… 🤐.
But still you could tell naman that there was a quiet respect for each other, all around 👍🏼
Thank you for appreciating the photos! That is my fave, the one of Vivian under the red bridge.. with the man passing by at just the right moment 🤩
parang wala ako nakikita mga palaboy dyn sir..?
Oo nga @kumadreYT, siguro kasi weekday ako nag bike dyan? There were cyclists here and there, but not in large groups.
