This was better than most drama series I've seen. It's as beautiful as The Untamed/Mo Dao Zu Shi.
It's a temporary thing, he is repaying a debt that Taisha made and he is also hoping for a secret advantage for him by doing that. But Asura joins the good guys again after that and fights SP Orochi.

No the song pretty much telling about their story after the war, asura re-write the history making taisha still alive tho they both lost all of their memories of eo but they always felt something missing and kept remembering someome but didn't know who or the name but in the end they meet again and like in the previous life when they meet again asura save taisha but this time from bandits, if you watch their cg last part after the ed credit when mara asked asura where'd he go and asura respond with "i'm going to the place where the person who can fill the hole in my heart is at" this happened after their 'first' meeting; the hero save his damsel in distress 2.0 ;)

Hello, yes this is the story arc of two characters, Asura and Taishakuten, from a game called Onmyoji(RPG). Coming to Taishas fate, do you want me to spoil it? 😀
Spoilers . . . . . So Taisha does die there. But Asura takes on the (forgot the meteors name) which is a diety of sort and kills it to take it's power. He uses that to rewrite time and make Taisha the good guy and make it so that he had imprisoned the Mara, aka the demon king Asura in hell/abyss or what ever it's called. IIRC only Asura, Orochi and Shuten remember the actual time line but they don't say anything. Right now in the new reality, Asura is locked up in the abyss and is waiting to meet Taisha, again. At the endof this arc there is a scene where they only show text for, where they say that Taisha is ambushed by some villains and a mysterious tall being saves him. Hinting that it is Asura and that is how they meet again this reality. So, their story continues. :)
