Thank you so much! You’re a lifesaver. You cannot imagine all the ways I’ve tried to clean my system in the past without removing any parts. Thank you!!
You are the man. Took many years for me to find such video that is helpful in Singapore. Thanks for the video, managed to do this DIY project and clean the roller. Hope to see more of your sharing of how to clean the coil and how to vacuum out the jelly substance. I am looking forward for many good sleep from today onwards.
Thank you so much. Had to manually clean mine as the technicians did a bad job. Was full of black mold, dust and some jelly substance 2 months after AC technicians "cleaned" it. They never removed the fan or pan, instead said it's not possible.
The best and clearest way to clean daiken, I have never seen someone that removed the blower. Thanks for sharing. Also if you can share how to clean the outside unit that would be great
Hie Kelvin, i have a FTV50pbv model..2hp air cond.. removed the blower and cleaned it but having issues to put the blower back, is there any tips or anything im doing wrong.. the shaft doesnt want to enter on the right side fully into the hole..
I have used both the older Daikin units and am using the new Starmex now. From the video, I think it is easier to service the Daikin iSmile. Both are good quality and quiet indoor.
@@dannyloke4632 Daikin drain pan and control board looks much harder to fix back than Starmex. I think Starmex is better the front vane can open to clean more areas than Daikin.
This is a great video! I followed the steps and it worked. However, my fcu has tight space constraint so i need to pull the fan coil outward angle wider and i hear a ‘tak’ sound. Did i break anything?
if you have a vacuum which can take in water, you can try vacuum it at the end of the drainage pike, which should be located in the bathroom. It works for me.
Does this model get the same layout with the ATK model? I need to remove only the blower fan and followed your instruction to unscrew 2 on the left and one on the right yet could not make enough gap to get the blower fan out. Really afraid of damaging the fan coil.
Depending on the model. Some have magnets so you just pull. Some have screw (like mine, Daikin Sensira from 2021). If you look at the blower on that right side, if there is a screw you will see it as there will be some blades missing where the screw is.
Hi Mate, if I just need to change the wheel blower can I just do it from the left side? Or do I need to dismantle all that part of the right hand side as well? Thanks.
How high can you pull up the metal fins? You unscrew all fins screws already, what is holding the metal fins to prevent the whole metal fins falling down to ground, is there some hinge at the metal fins right side, how to prevent the whole metal fins fall down? It seems like daikin blower is easier to remove/attach than mitsubishi starmex, but daikin harder to open the drain pan and unable to open the front plastic fins? Does this video apply the daikin ismile eco CTKM25VVMG? Thanks.
The 2 screw at the bottom? Do you mean the one screw to the metal plate? Mine are ftk60 There are black thing underneath. I untapped it, got got nut. I open it and hear a bit of hissing sound and is smelly. I tighten back What seems to be happen
Hi I've never been able to remove the Fan blower with out loosening the fan motor so the motor can tip and let the blower slide left. Not this easy on an older unit when the blower is very stuck, did you forget about the grub screw on the motor shaft?
Some models have a grub screw some do not. Mine does not. The ones with a grub screw have a missing blade or two on the right side of the fan so you can loosen it.
Yes older daikin inverter models had the blowers that were supposedly to be easily removed but were infact not possbile (in my case) after removing the grub screw. Real pain in the ass.
this video are similar to Hitachi AC , thanks so much , i can clean my blower wheel soon . those internet cleaning kit are joke , hand pressure pump , using brush , there nothing can compare take this out and wash properly , its full of fungus.
After my super took out my blower wheel to clean and put everything back together, now my AC unit is leaking water. I checked the drain pan and it is full. Could the super have caused this when putting the blower wheel back incorrectly?
No offence ah..the easy way to remove daikin blower is..first is the cover..second is the watertray after water tray then u easy dismantle the blower..actually to dismantle the wateray doesn't need to remove the swimg motor..just unplug two wire then can remove watertray..with or without switch off the pwer also can..
how to remove the coil? can do a clip on how to remove the coil for cleaning and chemical cleaning. the solution can be bought :) only not sure how to remove the coil.
Daikin Ac donot have standard specifications. Same models have different specifications just like buying vegetables with different lot. It happened to us where same model bought has 4way swing and another piece has 2way swing. No response from Daikin. They said yeh India mein chalta hai. Even no response from Daikin Ceo and Daikin Japan.
Hi, i recently purchase a Daikin inverter AC last week but suddenly yesterday it started to make a buzzing type sound im not sure what it is. The model is daikin r32 inverter 1.0hp ftkf25a. Im not sure what to do it still brand new.
Hi Thinesash! There is many possibility of fault, check if there is an error code, next check if you can get the manufacturer down to do a check as its only recently installed. 🙂
Accumulated mould, dust, jelly that remains on the blower and coil. Usually the smell is more significant for the first fews min of operation and it goes away afterwards. Best to keep your room ventilated and run the blower mode for 30 mins after you switch off the ac! This helps a bit! It it doesn't, time to do some maintenance! 🙂

Thank you for the great video! Shot really well, good lighting and clear speech. Most importantly the steps are laid clearly to follow.
Thank you for your clear instruction on how to disassemble and assemble the ac unit :)

Hey your video is very well made. Kudos.
Thank you so much for this guideline. ♥️
Great...it does help. May i know what kind of chemical solution to get🤔 and also the grease for blower.

Which model daikin is most easily disassembled for deep cleaning and easily assembled again without faults??
This is GOLD
How to dismantle Daikin RT 15LV1L blower? i don't see any screw on the left hand corner
Hi, is Daikin or Mitsubishi easier to dismantle? Which one quieter? Which one more durable quality last longer? Thanks

No. Is ok

Hi yesterday I purchased Daikin 1.8 Ton split ac but the tape and plastic residue is still tere what can I do to remove that stain plz suggest me
Still need to unscrew the screw which located at blower motor right ? before we can pull out the blower .
There is no screw for daikin smiles series! They are using magnetic blower.
Yeah I was surprised because that's usually the trickiest bit.
Can you show how you clean the filter and blower ?
Do you have video how to dismantle swing motor?
How can i remove the blower for cleaning for my unit with space constraint? The left side of the unit is near a wall. 7 cm away from wall.
Hi Mr Lim, Still can be done but your blower will hit the fins. Just very challenging 😂
Can i use mr mckenic aircon cleaner? Its from SG
Sure you can use! Just the effectiveness comparing to removing the unit for cleaning! 🙂
hello sir.. i wanna ask.. all the info in your video can it apply for daikin FTKG model? looking foward to get your response.. thank you
Hi Shazwan, it's a different build for another country, might be different in the screw placement.
Thanks!!!
thanks for the video. I have followed through and I'm stuck with removing the draining pan..
Its not necessarily to remove fully for a quick clean, just vacuum it clean and attached it back.
Thanks for sharing
Thankyou...
Y dun u remove the tray 1St dan remove the blower?
The 2 screw at the bottom? Do you mean the one screw to the metal plate?

Oh no! It is the refrigerant gas pipe! I suggest you get professional to help and not do it yourself as you misunderstood the steps!
@@hoot5080 ist that what your video are

It's similar, you can follow. 🙂
@@hoot5080 But there is Daikin Online controller BRP069A41 NL attached to the Daikin cover. How should i remove it? Please advise.

Hi Vincent! Yes can you believe how many different DIY cleaning kit I bought! Few hundred dollars and all for experiment to see if it really works 🤣
Can u also inform if ismile can use Google assistant
Hi Sha! iSmile is not compatible with google assistant as of now. I heard they are working on it but not there wasn't a date given. Hope that helps!

Probably crooked needs to be tilted to the side the drainage is
How much do you charge? Where to book?
thank you so much

It would be tough to find a Artcool model to work on! Lets see if we can have anyone to volunteer!
