Cadbury has just lost the Royal Seal of Approval, which they earned 150 years ago, since it was sold to Kraft Foods, and production removed from Bournville it has become quite nasty, it is greasy and leaves an after taste. I do so wish you could all have tried the chocolate we grew up with, even my kids grew up with it, now my Grandchildren have this new stuff, they know I will not be stealing their chocolate any time soon for sure.
And what is more, it's no longer necessary to use buteric acid anymore, but returning GIs after WW2 were so used to the taste from their rations that Hersheys kept the recipe.
Cadburys chocolate is now crap since Kraft took them over.Cadburys no longer have the royal warrant as King Charles agrees that an American company has now made it’s chocolate taste bland.
Born in Canada raised in the UK since I was 4 years old. I grew up more on British chocolate . American chocolate tastes like Cooking Chocolate for stuff like cakes, cupcakes etc Trying it while visiting family put me off it when on vacation. Dairy Milk/ Galaxy? I'll go for Galaxy every time.
The British comedian Jo Brand told the best joke ever about chocolate. She said, if you ever have a craving for chocolate, what you should do is eat just one small square of dark chocolate with a very high coco count. That will give you enough energy to go to the nearest petrol station to buy a Twix.
Even the chocolates that we have here in the UK that are also available in the US are very different in taste. They just can’t help putting further harmful additives and colourings in the US versions.
When Cadbury's were bought out, Neal - including their own old family recipes! The first thing that happened was the new company decided to switch to a cheaper brand of cocoa bean to help their profit margins out - (a cocoa bean that was not in Cadbury's own original recipes!) - so ever since then basically, the taste of what once used to be original Cadbury famiy recipe for it, soon began to change and the taste declined . . . Then the EU stepped in to also offer them a lot of £££ help to move a lot of their production away from the UK to Poland, etc where hourly rates of pay were so much cheaper . . . so of course, they grabbed that option of making even more profits with both hands!!! . . . Hershey Wars . . . Prior to Cadury's being sold, Hershey sent sent their lobbyists to get your senators, etc, to lobby your Government politicians to prevent Cadbury from being able to sell their chocolate freely in the US . . . Hershey knew they were going to lose out big time if this didn't happen for them - and well, money $$$ talks, doesn't it??? So of course Cadbury's were banned from opening stores or selling their types of chocs in the US by this new LAW . . . So, in a counttry where it's all about freedom and fair business - Hershey managed to save themselves from being hammered in the sales market by buying support to do it . . .Nowadays, Hershey has bought some recipe rights to make some Cadbury chocs of their own to try and keep Hershey support high this way - but they still make it in their own way, adding their own recipe to it, so of course it still tastes iffy =(crap/different!) . . . (There is a short Doc on YT somewhere which does tell you about this . . .)
I completely agree with this video..when it comes to Chocolate American Chocolate doesn't come close to not just British Chocolate but to European Chocolate in general.
Sadly when kraft got hold of Cadbury they changed some of the ingredients to cheaper options, it now taste foul.. highly recommend she sticks to galaxy!
The best UK chocolate is dark chocolate as the cocoa content in it is far higher than in the milk chocolate. Once you've eaten a dark chocolate Easter egg you won't want a milk one!
The reason American chocolate has a sort of sour and like vomit flavour to a British person, you have to go back to the world war when they had to find a way of making chocolate last for a time as it went into the American soldiers rations . When the soldiers returned to there country they couldn’t change the recipe as they had got so used to the taste so Herseys didn’t dare alter the recipe to use fresher ingredients, and now American people are so used to the taste they enjoy it until they compare it against other chocolate . This is the reason for the taste.
You may want to look at WW2 Hersey vs Cadbury. It’ll explain why Americans moved to Hersey post war. Basically, Hersey’s kept making chocolate and Cadbury went to helping out the war effort by repurposing a few of their conveyor belts/machines which meant less chocolate produced. Hersey made sure to give the boys a daily Hersey’s ration whilst out in the fields of war so they got a taste for it and was available when they got back home. Not so for the British soldiers.
When I visited the us I thought I will try a hersheybar I had one bite it was so awful I had to spit it out I have tried a lot of European chocolate and it's really nice but here in UK I nearly always go for Cadbury s
American chocolate has a substance in that you can get from baby vomit 😮absolutely true and not really nice at all. Britain chocolate or Belgium chocolate is the best chocolate in the world 😊
Twix, Rolo and Kit Kat are made by Nestle in the EU but I think Hersey’s may have the licensing in the US. You should try a US Twix vs a British one etc and see what you think.
The cocoa laws are misleading, they both have around the same amount,it's just split between solids and powder laws. Ther's a much older video that actually covers the facts on this.
Snickers (chicago), kit kat (york, england), twix (not sure where but UK). I actually thought they were all UK but my favourites not. Big up chicago on the snickers cah idk what id do without a snickers some days Hersheys is a vio on any english chocolate and belgium would say it came outta someones xss! Hersheys is disgusting
I watched someone on you tube a few weeks ago most confectionary in Britain now America has a percentage in these companies l bought some Quality street the also do not taste like they did say in the 70s 80s 90s for one their toffee is vile caramel is the same whats going on ?????????
But be honest im belgium and the uk chocolate is garbage to. You wil have difference but put a real belgium ore Zwitserland chocolate next to the uk and there wil 100 time difference
The Kit Kat, Twix and Rolo's are originally from Britain in the North of England.
They’re very different in the US like pretty much everything else.
Cadbury has just lost the Royal Seal of Approval, which they earned 150 years ago, since it was sold to Kraft Foods, and production removed from Bournville it has become quite nasty, it is greasy and leaves an after taste. I've been munching on Lindt chocolate since the Yanks ruined Cadbury.
Queen Elizabeth II loved Bournville too, I heard. Even though King Chatles obviously removed the royal warrant.
Dairy milk is still the same.
It's chocolate bars that don't advertise dairy milk that uses cheaper powder milks
Still my fave chocolate
Probably because it is made in America and Poland now and over sweetened, making it taste artificial.
Vomit chocolate, only in America! 🤣 poor souls are being poisoned from all angles.
And what is more, it's no longer necessary to use buteric acid anymore, but returning GIs after WW2 were so used to the taste from their rations that Hersheys kept the recipe.
Cadburys chocolate is now crap since Kraft took them over.Cadburys no longer have the royal warrant as King Charles agrees that an American company has now made it’s chocolate taste bland.
no he removed the warrant due to the parent company still trading in russia

You’re being wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Too generous calling it cooking chocolate is a joke it’s like vomit
Snickers is also a British product and used to be called a marathon bar
Cadbury's chocolate isn't British anymore, Kraft bought the company a few years ago and changed the recipe by reducing the amount of milk.

I spent sometime living and working in the US (NJ) and compared to UK chocolate, Hersheys tastes like feet smell.
Vomit you mean
The best UK chocolate is dark chocolate as the cocoa content in it is far higher than in the milk chocolate. Once you've eaten a dark chocolate Easter egg you won't want a milk one!
Cadbury is pish now it’s owned by Kraft (Mondolez), especially creme eggs. They’re not the same

I got given a herseys kisses to try. Omg. It was awful like vomit. Never again
Neal, you wait until you have tasted British chocolate! Not only chocolate but also toffee (toffee) fudge and liquorice.
Toffee flavoured fudge..
Lidl do nice ones
When I visited the us I thought I will try a hersheybar I had one bite it was so awful I had to spit it out I have tried a lot of European chocolate and it's really nice but here in UK I nearly always go for Cadbury s
I tasted American chocolate once, just once!
Dark chocolate is MUCH better for your health, the darker the better.
True, very good for your liver. I can't eat milk chocolate any more without feeling nauseated. Lindt dark chocolate though is divine.
Once you had IT there's no turning back lol
Chemicals.
The end.
Cadbury milk chocolate is now produced with milk containing Bovaer since 2009.
Maybe best to avoid it 😢
Lipolysis is in baby vomit😮
Cadbury's chocolate is not the product of chemical weapons research. It is also very low in plutonium, thorium, and arsenic 🙂⚰
American chocolate has a substance in that you can get from baby vomit 😮absolutely true and not really nice at all. Britain chocolate or Belgium chocolate is the best chocolate in the world 😊
The book and film about Willy Wonka was based on the Cadury factory.
Twix, Rolo and Kit Kat are made by Nestle in the EU but I think Hersey’s may have the licensing in the US. You should try a US Twix vs a British one etc and see what you think.

I went to the Hersey's shop in Las Vegas in 2019. They gave out a free sample of Hersey's Kisses. Sorry to say, but it wasn't nice
Galaxy is superior to Dairy milk.
They ain't like they used to be.
But I'm a fan of Mars
Cadburys chocolate is the best 😊
I don't like Tootsie Rolls either 🤮. No idea what they are exactly but they are strange.
US chocolate tastes like vomit. Cadbury's is bad since being taken over by US company.
There is a video that you can react to about how America make chocolate and how bad it really is😮😊
Snickers (chicago), kit kat (york, england), twix (not sure where but UK).
I actually thought they were all UK but my favourites not.
Big up chicago on the snickers cah idk what id do without a snickers some days
Hersheys is a vio on any english chocolate and belgium would say it came outta someones xss! Hersheys is disgusting
The judgement was passed years ago, sorry.
I watched someone on you tube a few weeks ago most confectionary in Britain now America has a percentage in these companies l bought some Quality street the also do not taste like they did say in the 70s 80s 90s for one their toffee is vile caramel is the same whats going on ?????????
6:45 American bread has 6x the amount of sugar than European and is considered cake because of how much sugar it has
