For the flannel styled cover…once you remove the rings…You could make it a travels styled notebook for your book. Punch 3 holes at the top and bottom, add eyelets if you want to make it a clean look and add the elastic strings
You totally inspired me to be flexible with my journals and planners, and reminded me that we can change things up as our needs change. I love your fall setup! I want to jump into your pages!
I have #614! I popped off my rings. I’m planning on using elastic barbed cord and wooden buttons to cover up the holes that the rings made on the outside of the cover and threading them halfway through the beginning halfway through the ending of my A5 cousin through it so that way it’ll be more sturdy and my book won’t slide out! I’m really excited about it!
This is the best A5 I've seen this year. I ❤️ decorative planners that display a persons personality. Some of the planners I've seen are too plain, but that's my personal opinion.
Kudos for making your planners work for you. Very creative adaptations. I love your September cover page and your other divider designs. Best wishes on your writing goals.
I just ordered a deeply discounted Filofax in a nice red shade from Amazon to use as my fall/winter planner, so this video is fantastic inspo! Love the plaid, and your nails! (Olive & June? That color looks familiar.)
Love a discounted cover! I might have to check out Filofax. I totally forgot about them! Glad you found inspo here! And the nails are just imPress press ons. They had some pretty impressive fall colors and patterns this year! Thanks for hanging out for this one! 🧡
You could stitch elastic inside each side of the orange cover and it will hold your passion planner.. I did that exact thing for my daily and it worked great
Great video! I picked up an A5 ring binder from Erin Condren that was on sale. Looking forward to giving it a whirl. Right now, I'm planning to use it for my writing notebook. For your floppy cover, maybe you could attach some cork board to the inside? That should give it some structure and you can pin things to it? Also, you might be able to set the back cover up as a pocket style attachment to slide your other notebook back cover into. Good luck!
Oh that sounds awesome! Love a good EC sale and using it for a writing notebook sounds perfect! Thanks for the ideas for the floppy cover! I appreciate that! And thanks for hanging out for this one! 🧡
I would carefully slice open the liner and insert some cardboard or some other sturdy material and then cover my cut lines with some fun rick-rack or ribbon that matches.
What did you end up doing with your August set up? Did you mention that and I missed it? Maybe use the orange binder as an "archive" of the previous months?
Nate took the rings off for me and I'm using it as my Passion Planner cover. It's SO beautiful. We're going to go to Hobby Lobby this week and get elastic to run through the open holes from the rings and have that to hold my Passion Planner in the cover. 😊
Love it! I’m sticking with my passion planner, I’m looking at the hobonichi for next year, but I’m not sure I can pay nearly $70 for one…😬 I grabbed a rings type planner cuz I needed a cover and took the rings out. I just drilled holes where the grommets are that hold it in. The only issue was that the holes were still there. 🤷🏼♀️ another suggestion could be that you take thick chip board or cardboard and use duct tape in a brown color (they have so many colors now) and cover the whole cardboard and cut to the edges… you could even make a basket weave with colors that match the cover and do your own plaid design. If you sew you could get some fabric and use that to cover cardboard/ chipboard and sew around the edges… 😅 just some thoughts 😊
Yes!!! Passion Planner is the one true love!! I have thoroughly enjoyed my Hobonichi planners but not the price tag and the pen smear! I totally love you for these tips, my friend!! Thank you! And thanks for hanging out! 😘🧡
omg I'm in loveee

Hi! What planner inserts do you use? Love it alll
Hi there! I make all of the inserts myself
I would carefully slice open the liner and insert some cardboard or some other sturdy material and then cover my cut lines with some fun rick-rack or ribbon that matches.
I might try that! Thanks for hanging out for this one, my friend! 🧡
