What an absolutely amazing car. The sound is different than everything there is! And it spits flames!
Was driving to the next stage when this monster passed me on the highway! The sounds it made were phenomenal... So I gave chase. And that's how I found said stage!

There is another video with it on a road course at night, as it goes around a right hand turn the body leans and you can see the entire exterior of the exhaust glowing red hot

No Group B RX7s are AWD
Horsepower is (ft/lb x rpm) ÷5252
(270ft/lb x 7500) ÷5252 = 385hp at 7500rpm.
I think those figures are a bit off.

I don't know about these old Group B monsters but modern rally cars usually run catalytic converters as mufflers. They're basically straight piped with a cat at the very end. A friend of mine works on rally cars at Gassner Motorsport, he told me that.

@@Lexon59 challenge accepted, but your car is by FAR more awesome than mine 😂 I also wondered... When does your turbo kick in and how much grip do you loose when it does? Used to have a Lancia that was a nightmare if you don't spool the turbo with clutch engaged before you let go when exiting a corner...

@@Lexon59 Watched again, it's not a genuine rally car of the day as they did have high revving engines like you mentioned "no turbo", but then you messed up by putting 1 in... Blow off valve, intercooler... Don't bullshit a mechanic... Take it you aren't really the driver, or if you are, you don't know your car... BIGGEST mistake of a driver EVER.
Besides, that lag is because of the long travel from the turbo to the intercooler in the rear wing back to the engine which is why you have no speed in corners... (Trolling hurts everyone!!!!)
