My history teacher in high school once said the Samurais finally lay down their Katanas and play Koto instead when the feudal system collapsed in the early 1900’s. Hearing Koto and Shakuhachi in this track is consoling, healing and feeling hopeful at the same time. Thanks for creating such a sound imagery, Rodrigo. As always, you are in your element when playing the Shakuhachi.
