We ran into Teppei and Riley by the busses and got to talk to them for a few minutes, but no Dustin. This was before digital music. We were on our own tour and each member had a binder full of CDs. I remember we played the album “Artist in the Ambulance” over and over.
I recently heard your conversation on the Pixel Podcast and thoroughly enjoyed it. My ears absolutely perked up when you mentioned Dustin’s name and Thrice. I am a huge fan and appreciator of them. Musically they are one of the most original and authentic bands out there and I’ve always admired their creative push/growth. I may be an outlier here but I feel we truly heard Thrice when they wrote Vheissu. This was far beyond what their peers were doing, and please don’t misunderstand I love a lot of the bands they played and toured with. But there is something special about Thrice. There’s always been this want to sit down and have a cup of coffee with Dustin to talk about music, family, faith, etc. I’m glad I get to see this video. Thank you and have a wonderful week.

I played in bands for a very long time and last year I started my channel and have been enjoying all the things I've been learning along the way. This is the first creative thing I have done that didn't require others for execution.

Dustin just gets cooler with time. Thrice is my favorite band- they keep evolving and taking risks, I adore them. But I never considered Dustin to be a gamer- learning that he got pulled back in with Breath of the Wild and Red Dead 2 just made so much sense to me. Great video!!

I once played a show with Thrice, at the Biola University library, playing bass with Focused…and Tim Mann didn’t show up. So we all screamed the lyrics. Was a disaster and funny. But Thrice rules.

@@MortsGarage Yeah, you have to basically talk to almost everyone in the village before the guy lets you into the first dungeon. Not a great thing to deal with in a 10 minute limit. If he had time to play this game I'd bet he'd love it since he said he was really into the original Zelda

@@MortsGarage I'm incredibly big on older Korpiklaani, they are a Folk/Polka Metal band with and a lot different influences. It's got that amazing heart and soul vibe. Another band/ album Ayreon - Human Equation. This is more of a Prog style Rock Opera. My opinion a 11 out of 10. Some others these are more like Death Metal and Brutal Death Metal, Lividity, Gorgasm, Necrotic Disgorgment, Korpse and if you want a good laugh check out Bananaslama. One other band I'm crazy about is Home Free. I would guess they are Acapella/Gospel. They are amazing. I am all over the place musically as well.
