I haven't practiced in decades but with your video and color system, it's all coming together. Also, thank you for the slow diction. It is very helpful. I subscribed.
I had to find the meaning of the "と" particle in "to itte imashita" (5:30). Just in case anyone struggles with the same doubt, that "と" particle comes together with verbs "iu" or "omou", and they make reference to the referenced action, in this case "aitai" (wanna meet). I guess Mochi sensei should've quoted "aitai" to better understand it. I guess the literal translation of the japanese sentence would be something like: My father and mother also said: "Wanna meet you!". Since I probably explained myself terribly, you can search "tofugu to particle meaning" and scroll down in the first link match to the "と for Marking Quotations" section. Anyway, arigatou gozaimashita Mochi sensei!!
I don’t suppose I could talk you into doing some of these that are somewhere between N4 and N5? I'm kinda right in that transition where N5 is starting to get easy, but full N4 is still too difficult 笑!
ありがとうございます せんせい i'm subscribing now, very clear and very helpful for me, i try to learn from youtube to get n5 , idk how long, just starting last month, and just can write & read hiragana katakana 😂
I feel like I know at least 85% of what's being said, even if I don't know the words. Oh, and I bought the "仕事行きたくねえ" shirt. I wore it to work, and then I got temporarily laid off the same day. Well, more study time!
In practice two the translation says 'Sometimes I sleep on the sofa in the living room'. Wouldn't it make more sense to translate it as 'Sometimes she (the cat) sleeps on the sofa in the living room'? Only because of context. You can't actually tell from the sentence alone.
The video is really helpful I wish it was more like this on UA-cam. But I don't get why lots of words, that have kanji are written in hiragana in almost all of videos like this
Understood about 1/2. I think I'm JLPT N6.
😂😂😂
Great thought, I think I'm there too.
So if i knew nothing im n7 or 8 lol 😂
Same as me, but let's keep studying and soon we will be in N5 💪🏻
