That was really hard. I'll have to study harder, but I didn't know a lot of the vocabulary so this was very informative. Several of the phrases I haven't seen in a while but I'm getting more than 50% of the sentences, so that is still encouraging.
I got 1 and 4 right, and was very close on number 2. 3 and 5 I couldn't quite catch enough key words to get a good enough idea of the situation. I recognized the word じしょ from the online dictionary name, but didn't realize it literally meant dictionary. In some ways I had a harder time understanding the questions than the conversations, though I know that is also part of the test.
I got 4/5, but I think I got less than 80% of the sentences without the subtitles because I still lack some of the vocabulary and listening skills. I'm still not at N4 (and I think I still need to brush up some of my N5 skills), but I'm at least glad that I understood more than half of the sentences and could make out most of the answers from what I understood and the context clues. ^^
@mxchii 3-4 years, I think. But mostly just from time to time using Duolingo, anime/VTubers, and more recently, Anki as well. I can't really devote a lot of time to it because of school, but I can at least do basic conversations in Japanese now lol

Same problem for me, the lack of vocabulary... If you don't mind me asking, for how long are you into studying Japanese?
