What kind of hardware does it have different from the new 2021 models?
@@rojelioh the 2021 refreshed model has 10 terflops of power and the xbox series x has 12 teraflops so the refreshed model has almost the same power as an gaming console so it can handle trafic and gaming at the same time no problem
This is not the leading car in the world,,this year China has driverless taxi all over Shingin useing their top 5G network ,also normal sensor and camera like Tesla, real time customer service 。。。

Even more impressive is living through the evolution of driving. My first car was a (used) 1957 Ford. It had cranks to raise the windows, an AM radio, and rust...lots of rust. I was 19 at the time.
I now have a 2018 Tesla Model 3. It does NOT have cranks to raise the windows, no AM radio, and NO rust.
It does have AP and will have FSD when the beta testing is done. I am now 74 years old and have seen the incredible improvements and transitions over the last 55 years. I think living through all the improvements makes it easier to appreciate them.

This reminded me… I think it was summer of 2019 where I had ordered either an Uber or Lyft in Las Vegas (to take me from, I think it was, the Wynn to the Excalibur) and up pulls a BMW with lidar on the roof.
Turned out it was indeed one of those beta-testing self-driving setups.
There were two folks in the front seats: a driver and one another individual from the company with a laptop (he was in the passenger seat) and indeed, I think it showed a very similar display that the dude here shows (as regards the earlier Mercedes beta testing trip he took).
Definitely the coolest rideshare experience I've had (next to the time when coincidentally after having done voiceovers for the National Corvette Museum, a Lyft driver had left his Honda at home and took his Corvette to pick people up - that was a thrill as well!
In any event, this beta testing experience in Vegas was a Vegas trip highlight for sure :-)
I also love how we can see the road and the cars and we can see what the Tesla sees at the same time

Everything about Tesla is crazy! The battery life, the tail lights, the interior etc. Tesla stocks is the best of them all! I have always hoped to invest in Tesla stocks one day but the thought of doing so without enough knowledge of the stocks market makes the whole thing less attractive to me. One cannot afford to lose big sums at this pandemic era.
True. The fluidity of the market makes the help of an expert indispensable. It is never enough to just watch UA-cam videos and decide to invest.

This Autonomous stuff is crazy! insane to see where technology has taken us! Now we just need to get the Tesla to go get our groceries and takeout food so we don't have to take the risk with the current state of things.

what you see is on the screen is lidar view. I have actually done training on self driving cars. It's pretty amazing to see it being applied on a tesla
I would really love to see how it reacts on a large 4 lane fresh paved road with no lane lines. I wonder if it will measure the road and have hypothetical lanes or treat it as one large lane.
Though it says full self driving, we are a very long way from preventing accidents and doing everything just fully automated!

I'd like to see how it handles when emergency vehicles are coming up from behind ir other scenarios involving emergency vehicles.
I love Eli and the fact that he got the Raven S when so many go for a 3 or Y. The model S is still the best looking car made IMHO. And, look how nice it is to have a Second screen in front of you.

No, you're not, because it is not possible to be 15 and have a driving licence.

@@ba-wp5zs I live in Saskatchewan, Canada. 15 year olds are allowed to drive as long as they have a learner's permit and an adult that has a Class 5 license (the basic one). In Alberta, they are allowed to drive at 14. There are many times when the adult beside the learner is not paying attention. This would essentially mean that they are driving on their own accord.
@@lediamonddozen ...that is completely unsafe. I agree; even with adult supervision, it is absolutely not right for 14- and 15- year olds to be permitted to drive.
@@ba-wp5zs I mean...honestly it's actually not terrible. A lot of kids here grew up on farms and have been driving since they were much younger. Plus there are 30-year-olds that still can't back out of a parking space properly haha
