- 13 the Musical, performed at the Norris Center for the Performing Arts as a part of the Negri Educational Series.
When his parents get divorced and he's forced to move from New York to a small town in Indiana, Evan Goldman just wants to make friends and survive the school year; easier said than done.
The star quarterback is threatening to ruin his life and his only friend, Patrice, won't talk to him. The school freak sees an opportunity to blackmail and someone is spreading the nastiest rumors.
With an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, "13" is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages about discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometime where you least expect it.

Yeah, I've played guitar for this show before, and this is definitely a lower key. The original is in B, this one sounds like A.
I'm pretty sure this is in a lower key than the original, but still great! :)

@clairebrewin It is only about half a step lower, but it is the same key as the MTI licensed version.
Yes the pitch is definitely lower, also her tone is some what monotone and not very inflectuous. That last note is supposed to be bigger. Other than that, it was a good performance. This girl has talent.

That's usually how they do things for less professional productions like community and school productions. Kinda weird but I guess it's out of the way
Yeah the point is to pick up the sound of their voice and not catch unnecessary smaller sounds like breathing or sniffing
But I have seen professional productions do this as well
