Ive just had two missionaries turn up at my house In Gisborne, New Zealand telling me we just missed Elder Saville who left 3 weeks ago and they told me about your coming home video!! I remember watching his first mission call video a while ago. Welcome home Elder Saville.
I'm not even LDS but somehow I started watching Mission Call videos then Homecoming videos and I cry every time. lol. I can imagine what it's like for the moms. Excited for them to be serving their church and the Lord and then how happy they are to see their sons return. Thanks for sharing these videos. You never know who's watching :)
Thanks Victoria. Just seeing your comment here from two years ago. Yes it's a wonderful thing for sure. Hard to explain the feelings and blessings from above. God bless.
What a Beautiful Family well done Geoff , I must say I got teary eyed too lol!...I watched the video the day you was to Serve in New Zealand and you left and I just remembered today at Work Geoff shud be home now.. Congratulations well done Kia Kaha from Australia. .
I think that this is the elder who ended up being at my baptism (hamilton east ward, 18-07-15) cause of exchanges. If it is him, i like him cause he can eat :) And.. Oh my goodness, elder Hopoate!! We miss yuo
Crazy! Just happened upon your son's Mission call video this evening while looking at a clip on the Hamilton NZ Temple Visitors center. When I saw the date of the start of his mission I figured he would be home by now so thought I'd check and see and there was this lovely clip. Funny thing is I live in New Zealand Auckland Mission but saw a photo of my daughter's in-laws in your video, the Murray family. What a small world it is and we truly are one enormous family. Wishing you and Jeff and all your family the very best for the future. Sister D. Bennison
Wow...thank you for sharing, Desiree. Yes we really are all a family. Our son had an amazing mission and saw and did things we are in complete awe of. I don't think a movie could really capture it. We are so glad to have him home but it is also bitter sweet seeing that part of his life done. But his mission has had a big impact on people at home...both member and non-members. My wife, kids and I look forward to coming to New Zealand in about a year. Can hardly wait to see and meet so many wonderful people.
