I saw tUnE-yArDs live at Pitchfork in '11 and open for Arcade Fire in Atlanta in '14 (Merrill even sat a couple seats down from me after her set and I remember she had to tell security who she was which sort of blew my mind and I was too starstruck to say anything) and each time was amazed by that voice. Still am.
By far one of the best performances i have ever attended. Soul feeding music.

Aaaaaaaah! Me gusta demasiado, acabo de descubrir está banda recién hoy. Pero antes de ver esta presentación ví una de KEXP también, pero de 7 años atrás.
Es impresionante ver la diferencia, sus instrumentos han mejorado, el ritmo de su música ha cambiado pero manteniendo su esencia, la primera canción de esta playlist recuerda a una que acabo de escuchar antes de esto:"real thing", de la presentación de este mismo canal pero de hace 7 años que mencionaba. Se darán cuenta que la esencia no cambia, han pulido su manera de componer. Y el agregado del saxofón uffffffffffffffff es increíble. Siempre será agradable al oído escuchar esas melodías de fondo

I just discovered this today Feb 1rst 2022. Can anybody tell me what genre is this? I feel some jazz, soul maybe r&b but with some electric sounds. I saw a performance from 7 years ago and they look so different and they also have better instruments
