So… glad you were forthcoming about roaches. It’s common in any building in a major city and I can remember going crazy thinking I wasn’t clean until I helped a neighbor move out of her immaculate apartment two floors up from me. $2600 month and there was roach excrement under every major piece of furniture. But that was in Crystal city, VA. 😅
What a wonderful spacious studio! I giggled a bit at you saying struggling not having a dishwasher. I've never used a dishwasher even when I had them in spaces i lived. I could never use enough dishes to fill it up lol. Great video:)
The view from the entrance is magical! I love the bench and desk in front of the window :) And I noticed your espresso machine, I was wondering if you have any recommendations for specialty coffee spots in DC. I'm visiting this week and so far I've liked The Coffee Bar. Thanks, have a nice day :)
Hi there! Thank you for your kind words! I also love The Coffee Bar. For non-chain coffee shops, I am a fan of Emissary on P st, Wine & Butter in Capitol Hill, Baked & Wired in Georgetown, and ala in DuPont! As far as most consistently good espresso goes, I have to say Compass or Blank Street take the cake for me!
Thanks for the tour, very nice apartment. We are also moving into a studio and curious as to where you got your room divider. All the best on your upcoming move.
Hi Daniela! Loved your video, currently I’m looking for an apartment in DC as I’m moving to do my master in August, do you have any recommendation in te apartment hunting? Or anyone who is assuming the contract? My budget is around 1.700
Hi Catalina! I’d recommend using the Trulia app, filtering by price and then using the “Map” view. That will show you what is available and where. I’d recommend living in Logan Circle, DuPont Circle, Shaw, or Kalorama. NoMa and Navy Yard have some cheaper apartment options but are both actively gentrifying neighborhoods so they have a bit of a different feel to them. Chinatown area can feel a bit unsafe these days unfortunately. For that budget, you can get a very nice two bedroom if you want a roommate :)

Never seen your channel, but you had me 10 seconds in 👏
Love the efficiency
🤓really like that you have full size furniture, nice earth tones; neatly organized for everyday use
Love it

Great video:)
This is perfect! I can’t believe how much storage you have!
Thanks for creating this very helpful video for those of us thinking about moving to D.C.
DC is my favorite city to visit. I always drive from NYC to DC every year to visit the museums and monuments.
For $1,700 tenants deserve at least a dish washer, balcony or washer and dryer. The closet and a/c unit is nice.
I just love your place I think it's beautiful!.. I love how you have it set up and, I'm in love with that floor lamp.. I want it lol
Your place is so cute ! I would use the folding screen to separate the bed area from the rest of the apartment !
Cute studio. Hopefully your new place will have a dishwasher. If not you can always get a portable counter top one.
absolutely love the parquet flooring!

Get an extra latch lock on your front door, ...so that you are more secure at night, ...since maintainence has pass keys....
You decorated it well, looks beautiful! If you don’t mind, can you share the apartment management company/ building?
