Nice and comprehensive video as always. However one thing I would like to mention is that the 24°C Temperature and Maximum fan speed is a rule made mandatory by government as part of energy conservation measures 2 years back and that is why AC starts with those settings always. You can cross check that as well. Also, if you look around your indoor unit, there will be a yellow-green sticker with 24 written on it as well. Earlier Samsung models indeed remembered the settings.
Hi, Thanks for the comment, I am well aware of the rules. If you watch my LG video carefully, One can see that if we set temperature above 24 (That's why I use example 26 or 27) it can preserve that and starts at last used temperature. However if setting is below 24 (Like 18) It goes to 24. Samsung on the other hand starts always at 24 and makes a loud roar of Fan which makes it quite annoying. What I mean to say is, there are better ways to implement these rules, which LG did but Samsung did not.

The point I wanted to make was that earlier Samsung models did indeed remember the previous settings but these new rules, that apparently use the wording 'default' naturally makes every manufacturer come with their own interpretation of the same. LG on the one hand remembers the set temp point if set higher than 24 while Samsung has made the very same temperature, the default temperature(which also makes sense going by the word 'default' temperature) though it do remember the swing settings from previous run. However I also think LG's implementation is better in this regards. The fan speed might also have to do with the energy efficiency norms as having higher air flow rate (in CFM or CMM) over the coils will help cool higher volume of air per unit time albeit at a lower humidity removal rate and brings the temperature to set point faster, thus saving energy.

If possible make a video on Hitachi new Inverter AC's, we had one Hitachi Kashikoi 3300X 1.5 Ton Inverter AC RSB318IBEA bought in the year 2018, I want to know is there any feature missing in the old model compared to new one. Hitachi's performance is top notch, only con is their Authorised Service Centre is not upto the mark. 5:59 - Hitachi worked upon this, in Hitachi remote under Dry mode you can change the temperature from 16.0°C to 32.0°C but fan speed will be fixed at low operation automatically by default.

1. Samsung has too many confusing models which look similar but some features are not supported. KWH display is supported in my particular model, Link in description. 2. Maybe your remote cells are weak. 3. Clean works automatically. it will shut down once done. 4. Looks like faulty remote or weak cells.

If possible make a video on Hitachi new Inverter AC's, we had one Hitachi Kashikoi 3300X 1.5 Ton Inverter AC RSB318IBEA bought in the year 2018, I want to know is there any feature missing in the old model compared to new one. Hitachi's performance is top notch, only con is their Authorised Service Centre is not upto the mark.
5:59 - Hitachi worked upon this, in Hitachi remote under Dry mode you can change the temperature from 16.0°C to 32.0°C but fan speed will be fixed at low operation automatically by default.

1. Samsung has too many confusing models which look similar but some features are not supported. KWH display is supported in my particular model, Link in description.
2. Maybe your remote cells are weak.
3. Clean works automatically. it will shut down once done.
4. Looks like faulty remote or weak cells.
