Not rude at all. Just purely channeling his British humour which is a lot less sensitive and harsher... they all knew what they singed up for. I thought it was kinda funny, reminded me of Jimmy Carr or Ricky Gervais

I think he thinks it's endearing?? I get that he's British and they can take the piss...but he just seems like a jerk to me in most of his interviews. Like he's basically accomplished nothing relative to his guests...but still needs to talk more than he listens??
The way number 1 said the line with a French accent killed me! 😂 he also broke character for a second and smiled! Edit: OH MY GOD NUMBER 5 WAS EVEN BETTER
CandyWorld30 Nah, that’s so tame compared to British comedy, James already has to notch it down to provide cheesy American comedy, but that’s wasn’t rude at all. Probably one of the funniest bits. You should check our Ricky Gervais / Jimmy Carr if you think he’s bad.
Wow! My initial reaction was "Paul Rudd? Don't you mean John Mulaney?" because I didn't know they did that skit before last season. Very funny sketch both times
This is probably embarrassing for everyone involved.. probably not a good skit.. kind of bashes each person, and left the actually guest uncomfortable.
It's UK style. They're a bit tougher over there and not so worried about offending everyone. It was a regular segment of Nevermind the buzzcocks and the guests are completely in on it and are trying to look a certain way. It was always very very funny
I was thinking the same thing! If people liked this they would have loved Buzzcocks, Simon Amstell is a considerably smarter comedian than James lol. Though I think this segment is perhaps best left in the past.
Corden did this bit a couple of years back with Kevin Bacon. A whole bunch of viewers pointed out at that time that this is basically just a rip-off of the ID parade from NMTB. But, since Buzzcocks isn't being made anymore, I guess it's cool.
@@robertbrauer6718 I think Corden's safe because his audience is primarily Americans who don't realise it's a somewhat stolen act. You guys are so sensitive, they're all jokes. I don't think he is being rude whatsoever. He has always been like this, I don't know why it is a surprise all of a sudden.
I can’t imagine how many people tv leads work with for only one scene - especially when the show is multiple seasons. I can’t remember the names of people I lived next to in the dorms for a whole year!
This is just like the line up segment from the British panel show 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks', and James did the same thing that show does by poking fun at them. The Americans calling James a bully right now- just know it was intentional and those guys knew what they were in for and paid for!
