#BHooked #Crochet #CrochetTutorial
This video is a God sent...it is just what I was looking for!! I also made a few "alterations" for myself... I used a smaller hook size and use half double crochet to make the glove smaller (for woman of children) and it works like a charm. I am really very impressed with my first try. Now I can make them for BIG hands and small hands...with or without fingers. Thanks a million for sharing this super easy pattern...❤❤
I really like this pattern. Instead of just changing 29 stitches to begin, I did a single crochet foundation chain. It made the band a little more stretchy. The size was perfect for my husband’s hands.😊
how to make sc at the beginning without foundation?
I did the same. Much better fit.
You are an amazing teacher.Your directions were very easy to follow.I loved your pattern so much that I made two pairs and they both turned out really beautiful and I might make more gloves in this pattern. Thanks for sharing this wonderful pattern with us.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I really appreciate it! 💙
Thank you for creating this tutorial to go with the challenge. I listened to the podcast yesterday and had figured I was too new to crochet to attempt gloves (just started learning at the end of September), but I just had your tutorial playing in the background while I finish up a scarf, and even without giving the video 100% of my attention I felt you were clear enough in your instructions that I'm ready to give them a try!
This is a great tutorial. It's very easy to follow. Well done! Thank you.
I THANK you thank you, thank you for the information you give us in MAKING ALL your groves, you make it so easy to do and understanding. Again THANK YOU .
Can't wait to try this much simpler pattern!
Thank you sooooo much❤❤❤ I made a pair and it looks wonderful ❤❤❤❤
I just finished my first glove. Thank you for the pattern.
Best glove pattern I have seen
i found the glove to be kinda big (even though i used a smaller hook and a smaller yarn??), so just using half double crochets worked out really well for me!
Hi.. Thank you so much for the wonderful pattern.. Finished a beautiful pair of gloves. So proud 😀
Great job!
Thank you! Im going to make these for my boyfriend.
Wonderful! Have fun!
Hi , i am a new viewer. I like ur way of teaching method.i finished my right hand gloves.thanks for ur ideas.
Thank you so so so much for this pattern! I've been searching for a men's glove pattern for weeks
i do like it that its very easy to follow step by step instead of alot of videos they fast foward so much with this pattern can you use a smaller hook to make it not as bulky and big? im new to crocheting
Woww soo easy way to make gloves mam thank u so much 😙😙😘😚👌👌👌👏👏👍💕💕
Thank you so much ❤
I am so happy that I found this pattern. how do I adjust this to my 7 year old grandson's size?
Love this ty pattern calls for 6.5 mm hook I used a J and this can fit the giant from Jack and the beanstalk I’ll have to try again
I thought so too! It's like an oven mitten!
This was a great tutorial and worked incredibly well, but I made one alteration from one glove to the next; when making the first row of any finger, instead of doing two dc in the same stitch catching both sides, I did one dc then did one more in the same hole from the other side as this filled in a gap made by doing two dc then moving to the next stitxg
Love this pattern, but I'm having a really hard time lining up my stitches with yours. Any suggestions? I feel like I've started these gloves multiple times.
I'm so happy I've found this tutorial! Do you have a written pattern for this?
I have a question: would you mind telling me what the measurements for the glove ends up being? Like length from middle finger to cuff, palm width and finger length. I understand that these gloves are for men I just want to know if the measurements match the person Im making it for.
If you click on the link to the written pattern in the description it gives measurements. 😊 I know you asked this like, 7 months ago but I hope it still helps!
@@rebekahscraftcorner8996 thanks! I appreciate it
Hihi is this op
Fit
Thank you.did two pairs today
Wonderful!
I prefer this glove
Wow I really love this Glove... Super
Thanks for the many increases, men’s hands are really big😅
I love your work so much
Can you please do a pattern for kids?
At any point do you tell what hook size you use?
I found so many glove patterns that were ridiculously too complicated. I just want a simple glove pattern for a pair of gloves for my grandson.
In rounds 2 to 5 you say the chain 2 doesn’t count and end up with 28 plus chain, then in Hand section the chain2 counts so end up with 30 stitches plus chain = 31 now. Do you not include the chain or do you and how dose the math work?
Checked the description but can u let me know where u got the hooks?
I have advanced arthritis and here in 🇦🇺 can’t get those lovely bigger grips!
Thanks ❤️🌈🐻
That is a Furls hook. They are available in lots of online stores, you could try doing a Google search.
Thanks, I did have a look last night, one like yours was $155 for one 😂😂😂😂🤪🤪🤪🤪
But there were heaps of ‘fat’ handle hooks to research, thanks for the tip!
made these for my brother and the fingers wound up being just a little little too long.
Biggest thing is they look like full on gauntlets especially because i made them grey.
In the written pattern, it says to use a 6.5 mm hook but not the sauce of the yarn. I assume it’s chunky yarn, but I’m not sure exactly.
Worsted weight yarn, which means it’s a medium weight yarn.
I agree with the other comments. This tutorial has a lot of potential but the stitch count is not correct and the gloves turn out really big. I did a lot of modifications in order to realise a normal size!!
I'd like to give a slight minor bad review
1st of all I do believe that you mayve had missed counted when you was creating the pattern yourself I end up with a total different results on the amount of stitches per row when I was forming out the pattern for the hand part of the pattern .
2. The cuff (starting point) pattern was too small for mens size , I've made set of gloves in this pattern for brother but the size results end up being a disappointment, the cuff area was too tight and so he couldn't be able to try them out to wear them 😢. What options can I do to fix this issue ?
Overall video was confusing by the btw the amount of stitches count results I kept on ending up with ,and the cuff ends up being too small and tight
I'm in the middle of making this glove, and it keeps turning out SO big ... How did you all get it to fit?? I've gone down a size in hook, but if I go down anymore then the hook will be too small... I'm getting frustrated because this is supposed to be for my aunt....
me too
I faced the same but then realized that the glovsss she's making are mens' and therefore are big, what I did was, in the hand section where she has made 5 rows(I'm not sure about the number, like the area after making the thumb gusset which widens and widens, instead of 5 rows, you decrease the number. Like if she's suggesting to make 6 rows and it's bigger, you make 3 rows and see if it's enough for your hand, and reaches the level of your fingerjoints.
What size crochet hook is being used pls?
Would anyone know how to size down these gloves? I want to use this pattern however they would come out too large
Simple downsizing would be to go down a hook size, or two.
Couldn’t you also chain probably less than 29 chains, like the first chains they made ? I’m going to try that
I think you can size them in ratio.. I sized up my gloves for my husband. Instead of 29 chains I started with 40. And kept all other counts in that ratio.. They fit him perfectly. ❤️
@@priyankareddy4582 If she started with 29 chains, would you not start with an odd number of chains too? Thanks
Take measurements (hand width, finger length, wrist width) first and try to work in ratio. Good luck!
Can i use this same size to come up with one for men
I bought a skein of the Lion brand Heartland yarn yesterday, but to get the same guage stated in the pattern I need a hook size of roughly 3.75mm. Why is that? I tried the recommended hook and it was way over 4 inches. Even crocheting super tight I don't see how it's possible to get it down to 4 inches. And even then the gaps between each stitch are fairly large.
How do I adjust it to a child's size
Hi. I'm new to crochet (started learning December 2022). What size hook did you use?
She's using a 6.5mm hook :)
Imak same pattern but it was tight I don't know how I can make it bigger for my husband size
Do you make these in women sizes you are so easy to follow
in Hand round 3, i got 34st instead of 35st. i don't know where did i miss? :(
Excuse me, what kind of yarn do you use?? Wool, cotton, or Polyester? Thanks
cotton
Well I messed up. I’m turning them into mittens now 😭
Good for you and well done!
hook size?
yarn weight?
If you click the little drop down it shows it to be Paintbox Aran. There’s a bunch of other info in there too x
Can I please make the other hand and is this 4 ply yarns
Can anyone tell me what kind of wool or yarn people wear in London
Can we use this pattern for women gloves with other colour and put some flower on them
Hi it's really awesome, this will fit for which size. Are you using wool thread right?
What if I need to size up on the band?
What size hook are you using?
I used a 6.5 mm hook but as always, you'll want to use the hook size that obtains gauge 👍
First time doing gloves and I thought at first it was awesome as I was stitching..but then the thumb was way to big even when I asked my husband to try them on the proportions aren't correct...
im so sad rn... i dont know what i did wrong but the glove cannot fit in his hand:((( my guess is that i crochet really tight in the beginning. he also has big hands so maybe its that too
Lovely good job thank you
Thank you! Cheers!
Please how can i make the other hand ??
Just like the first glove
I LOVE THEM
Exactly How much yarn do I need for making a pair? I have a ball of 100 gm, in afraid to start and then leaving it incomplete.
215 yards/197 metres of worsted/Aran weight yarn if you're going with the exact hook, I'm going down a couple hook sizes to make them a bit smaller so I'll use less and they fit me better.
I want to croche gloves for XL size, pls help me to increase
The pattern is simple and easy to make but the stitches don't add up when explained. It made me redo it 4 times until I've realised that it's not me it's the stitch count that's wrong
What are the total measurements of the gloves?
What size hook
What size kneel
Thankyou😍
Hi this was amazing I can't imagine it is very beautiful and please you can say this men gloves how many years men's can wear. Please reply na

Una pregunta, soy de México, se puede hacer el guante de medio punto, ojalá pueda hacer un video gracias ʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ
@hellencdo.4225
Sí, es possible usar medio punto peroooo...los guantes resultan pequeños, es decir, no tan grandes como los en el video. ¡Mucha suerte!
Nicee
I don’t have those pins
paper clips instead
Or bobby pins or safety pins.
Is this yarn medium 4 ply
👌👌👍👍👍👍💐💐💐🙏🏼

Bad pattern. Too many increases creates gloves that are wayyyy TOO BIG
I found this too.
if the gloves are big just use a smaller yarn and hook, i found that to work for me.
I used a smaller hook and so far mine is good. Just the fingers are too long but I just eliminated a couple rows.
I should have read the comments 😢... I thought it was me. I switched to a size 5 tried again. But it is still too big.
I'm going to frog it for today and use the idea of how to make it. But definitely less stitches and rows. I'd almost have two done by now. It's cold here and our community needs these. ❤
This pattern is fine you can use a smaller hook and they turn out small. It is interesting how that works.
Definitely too big... not very good
These are MEN's gloves. And men usually have rather large hands.

🖐️👈👏👍
How is this men’s gloves…
...for woman AND children😮😵💫

Didn't she realize when she was putting the stich marker she was saying put it into the first stitch you did for the increase and yet still she put it in the second one she is confusing ass he'll this is twisting my brain up this guide gets a dislike for sure nice glove but not clear instructions with the increase i might not give it the dislike because you seem like y I u have put some effort into trying to explain but that is very confusing
