- Making a barn for my daughter out of craft supplies as part of the Made By Mommy craft challenge. Each participant gets one box of random supplies and is challenged with making something out of them. It was fun and harder than I expected, but I'm happy with the results and now my daughter has a new red barn to play with:) Thanks for watching!

You floored Aunt B... :) She especially loved your animals, and of course the demonstration of their use by little M.... It so nice that you have a little one.. you get to make all these great toys... and of course you must try them out first.
+Rought Real Estate Thanks Randy! Yes, I still laugh at her making the animal noises...lol! Yes, we have been blessed with Marley... we are so thankful for her! Unfortunately it seems too many parents don't understand there blessings... and would rather play on their smart phone while the kids 'do whatever'.
... and yes, I can only make toys that I've tried out first...lol.... Marley probably wouldn't of cared if there was a pulley or not... but for it to be daddy approved... it needed to fit my toy desires as well!

Seriously. You are brilliant. I wouldn't even think of using the box! My father built me a homemade dollhouse out of scrap wood when I was a child and I played with that thing for years. I even did all the interior design. :-) So much better than a Barbie Dream McMansion. Keep up the great work on the videos and bring on your co-star more often.

Great project Joe! I was looking at the supplies at the beginning of the video and wondered how in the world were you going to make a barn from your thumbnail out of those things... of course you found a way to do it!
+The College Woodworker hahaha...thanks... yes, I got a bit scared at the end because I thought I was going to have a bunch of left over popsicle sticks, but overall it came together nicely. The red marker was key though..if my daughter hadn't had that in her little marker tub, I don't think I would've been so happy with the results:)
btw... just got back from a successful elk hunt in northern AZ... temps were in the low teens at night... and for a southern AZ boy, it was pretty cold! My first time being drawn after close to 10 years of putting in!
