I built this for my mice and hamster since I don't have a rat and it worked great! The only things I changed was to add walls to the back of the house so they didnt fall out and cardboard to the floor for another room for even more space! This thing works great I highly recommend!

If anyone is wondering, no this can not be used as permanent housing. It could be used during playtime or when you're hanging with your rats, but never as permanent housing, as they need so many things that just dont work in this popsicle stick house. Just wanted to clear that up if anyone is wondering
