I appreciate you creating this video on the new feature. Two suggestions though I would offer. One, shorten the video to the Cliff Notes version and two, when you start talking about moving the coin to the reference lines, actually show what you're doing on screen and move the coins instead of just talking about it. Obviously these are just my opinions and other people may feel differently. In any case, thank you for the video and have a great day.

thanks for your input, just as an fyi to keep these videos monetized they need to be 8 minutes long so you will find most my videos that length or longer. you can have it both ways, you as tomshorten the video but then ask to demonstrate some actions that would make the video longer. I do appreciate your input just understand that my style of video is not at a high level and more down in the weeds. some people like it some people don’t!

Thanks for the reply and the information on the 8 minute minimum length. But again, if you show a process such as moving an item to the alignment guides and snapping it in, why not actually show doing that process instead of just telling about it. A video is a visual medium and is best used if you show actual actions and not just narrative. Thanks again and have a great day!

Nice job! Could you also just draw a square the same size as your coins, lock that in place then h-center and v-center the coins to that? Of course, that square should probably be on one of the T layers so as not to have it engraved when you run the job.

its a great feature to use if you ever need to worry about framing when switching anything around

Nice Videos. Can't you just click on the first coin, note the x/y position and then click on 2nd coin and manually type in the coordinates?

You could but I would think that would take longer and more chance of error on input. But yes you could do that.

Thanks for your content, I always learn something. In terms of the coin alignment, I guess the hardest part to control is lining up one side with the other as this depends on how you place the completed side down on the workspace. It's probably not super important, but it does seem like a weak link in a precise process.

Whilst watching you video I just found out you can also draw a circle on a tool layer and lock that too. Even better!!

You can use 2 different layers for the same thing to align a front/back layer, and multiple layers for other things. Then you dont have to worry about origin as much when it ends in the same spot and starts there the next time
