@@jmc8076It should scare you too. Our greatest discoveries, technological innovations, and wealth comes from open source publicly funded research, and it's no rubics cube why. It takes a village of scientists openly sharing knowledge, not some fictional Tony Stark or Bill Gates patent troll monopolist, to actually advance progress for which the later only slows down. The corruption of science with capitalism is however a problem, so your correct about that part. The public funding for these ventures pay for themselves many times over and is the best use of the egghead class to keep them sharp and doing useful stuff...unlike wasting their talents as Wallstreet quants figuring out new zero sum and negative sum games to try extract more money from the working class. If we had spent 10x more on open source R&D in the last 100 years instead of war, sports arenas, Hollywood, and tax cuts for billionaires, we'd have by now bases on mars, cures for cancer, nuclear fusion, and be travelling to the stars...instead of just passively imagining them on the silver screen as losers with no agency. That's real wealth, not some overly inflated stock portfolio.

From what I understand, low entropy = slow time; that means at the beginnings, the time "flowed" slowly; but gravity and light speed was the same.... that means the universe is smaller than we computed by Hubble expansion. (ie. what we see as red shift, is low entropy! not expansion of space).... 🤔

A very interesting explanation, I do not buy into the heat death myself and it is important that anyone understand no one really knows, we may have some consensus but in reality it is all a somewhat educated guess. I lack the math to truly understand not that I think anyone else really does either. I see educated people calling gravity a force and others saying it is not just the curvature of space time. I see no explanation of dark matter and what it might mean to the overall evolution of the universe. Still I think the presenter did an outstanding job covering a subject in a matter of minutes that really takes years to grasp, again if anyone really does. But it was beautiful work and thank you for that.

Considering the common concept of arrow of time, even if time moves backwards, we will not be able to recognize it since time is not localized so if and when time moves backward everything that surrounds us as well resulting to everything that moved forward with time will reverse all motions as time goes backward, and anything that we had learned will be unlearned with the reversal of time. When time starts moving forward again, we will not recognize that time had moved since everything should have reset to the point where we had started the first time.
Notably there should be a quantum flux whether moving forward or backward so there may be subtle difference from the first round with reoccuring rounds resulting to different out come if you are able to compare the outcomes.

    📝 Summary of Key Points:
📌 Entropy is a fundamental principle that influences everything in the universe, referring to the tendency of systems to become more disorderly over time.
🧐 The second law of thermodynamics states that entropy always increases in real-world processes, leading to the unidirectional nature of time known as the arrow of time.
🚀 Entropy is not just a measure of disorder but also the number of ways a system can be arranged without changing its overall appearance or energy.
📌 Gravity plays a crucial role in creating pockets of order in the universe, such as stars, planets, and life.
🧐 As entropy increases, so does the amount of information in the universe.
🚀 Chaotic systems contribute to increased disorder and randomness, highlighting the connection between chaos and entropy.
📌 Entropy poses a challenge for businesses as systems naturally tend to drift towards disorder, requiring continuous effort and energy input to maintain order.
🧐 The sun's low entropy energy sustains life, while living organisms contribute to increasing entropy through the dispersal of energy.
🚀 The future of the universe involves the concept of heat death, where entropy reaches its maximum and the universe becomes evenly distributed and devoid of notable events.
    💡 Additional Insights and Observations:
💬 "Entropy is not just a measure of disorder, but also a measure of the number of ways a system can be arranged without changing its overall appearance or energy."
📊 The second law of thermodynamics is supported by statistical mechanics, which shows that the probability of a system being in a highly ordered state is extremely low.
🌐 The concept of heat death is based on the idea that the universe will eventually reach a state of maximum entropy, where energy is evenly distributed and no useful work can be done.
    📣 Concluding Remarks:
This video provides a comprehensive exploration of entropy and its significance in shaping our universe. It highlights the connection between entropy and disorder, as well as the role of gravity in creating pockets of order. The video also discusses the relationship between entropy and information, the challenge of maintaining order in businesses, and the future of the universe in the context of heat death. Overall, it emphasizes the importance of entropy in our understanding of the universe and its impact on various aspects of our existence.

10:50. You're saying entropy is not the process of changing state from order to disorder. But a change in state of all possible other configurations.
Unfortunately that's an incorrect assessment of the definition of the word entropy.
I understand that's the concept you are trying to get us to understand. But that's incorrect.
Yes all possible outcomes are possible. But only one is most likely. That's the one we call reality. The reality that resulted from the path of least resistance.
But any result that is different from this universe. Is Another Universe whose environment dictated a different path of least resistance.
Entropy does not have an uncertain outcome. it has a definite one. that is one configuration.
So if you're trying to get us to think about different outcomes. then you may wish to start with changing the initial conditions to generate a multiverse.
But trying to change the associated definition of Entropy. is falley.!

You do not yet understand because you are making it way too complex. All this talk of "order" is not necessary. Consider this:
"Entropy" is defined either using time or using location of mass. Time is fictional; nature does not know time but it is one system Man uses to measure sequence. So the mist important natural feature is location.
As mas gets smaller it becomes harder to detect confidentky in location. Fundamental mass is presumed to be far smaller than the light photons we use to locate it, and most particles known today are believed to be aggregates if the fundamental graviton, which we do not yet know if we have found.
So as the Universe of mass disperses with Cosmic expansion, it gets smaller and more spread out. It's interactions become more remote, of smalker particles more fundamental than before, and more intimate. The uncertainty of describing exactly what is going on goes way up because the probable arrangements proliferste beyond what we can likely measure or witness. Instead of focusing on our usual exactitude of each (fundamental) particle we adopt a new basis of measure of a property of a "system" population of particles. We call this "Entropy"= (increment of heat or energy transfer)/ Temperature; this defines for a goven temperature of a given system, an average amount of energy loss which is the total contributions of all particle sized energies crissing the boudary of the system AT a given ststem temperature. A high stsem temperature might break particles into sand, but a low temperature might leave them as granola.
Any real process procedes deterministically from the minute fundamental particle upward in size. Each interaction involves some energy loss to background space, which conveys it across system boundaries. The more interactions, the more loss. The more remote the dispersion of mass bevomes, the more uncertainty of loss but the greater pribability if it by particle exposure to radiate without recapture.
Ok, so now lets deal with a contracting universe converging toward big crunch. Here, fundamantal particles aggregate into bodies that compress themselves. This makes internal particles remote and unobservanle, thus of high uncertainty as to what IS going on. Being insulated insude the aggregate, they do not radiate as easily to the universal background. However, being aggregated and converging, they accelerate as an aggregate for greater kinetic velocity. Being in a cloaked state of embedment, at an increasing relative velocity, they become more uncertain BUT more interactive with the universal background (except for behind them). So, they again tend to radiate mire per unit temperature to the universal background.
Think of it this way: the universal background expanded fast, being a field that travels at light speed IN a "vacuum" (the sustainABLE speed of light). But ever since condensing from God after the Big Bang, the mass that emerged far inward of the Cosmic frontier, has been cooling ever since. The rate it cools depends on the sum of its interactivity with other mass AND it's interactivity with fields of force. While these affects interchange, the affect of scale increases whether mass is being earified in thermal expansion IR intersified by compressive aggregation; it is all about interactivity.

1:38 "Cells of Your body are dying." - Unless You suffered exposure to sever radiation, cell death is a product of first dna programming and rna execution plus of course second environmental influences like spikey objects penetrating vital organs or the lack of food, water or worst air. Not even hair becoming less or gray are compareable with the aging ofnon living tissue like the bleaching and degradation of plastics or dead wood. Cells die on purpose, otherwise a haircut would beat every tattoosession in terms of pain.
It really seems that the definition of entropy is dependingon the question, if there's a countable difference between those postulating, life's just a product of uninspired matter or that life is some kind of activated matter with bigger potential than the previous one. Is life a distict measurable quantity as men like it, or is it some unsteady mary go round function humble mumble state emotionally disfunctional quantum something only women can feel.
Answer: The very first exemple chosen for the description of empathy is just wrong. As much a materialistic scientists want us to believe the opposite, life has different qualities that contradict the oneway direction of the flow of entropee, peeee, pee, hush, pe, pee, drip, drip, drop.

The Big Bang violates the laws of physics and thermodynamics. Scientists have no response for this observation. The speed of light C isn’t constant since the measures of time and distance aren’t constant over larger distances. It’s like changing from 60 kilometers an hour to 60 miles an hour increases your speed. Then if you go from 60 miles an hour to 60 miles a minute it increases your speed even more. This what is happening in general relativity when less gravity increases the measure of distance and speeds up the rate of time over large distances. It also means that the earth is younger than what they claim. The universe doesn’t care about how young the earth is.
Actually the changes in time and distance compound the changes in the speed of light. Do a thought experiment. Hold your hands a foot apart representing 186,000 miles saying “one thousand and one” representing one second while pretending to see an imaginary photon going from one hand to the other. Now expand the distance saying “one thousand and one” as fast as you can. You should notice that the speed of the imaginary photon increases the farther away from the center of the galaxy it is.
This eliminates the need for dark matter because it makes everything move faster the less gravity there is.

No, most of all scientists don't care, TBH. God is more of a philosophical concept since there hasn't been any plausible evidence for one. That's why scientists are not only _not_ scared of that knowledge, they just don't find gods in any of their experiments, laws, and scientific theories. No evidence, no worrying. Simple as that.

Until scientists look inward at their own direct experience, they will never understand the ground of reality. We are the space of awareness that all apparent objects or forms arise in and are known and continually change (perceptions, sensations, emotions and thoughts) The space of awareness, the present moment, primordial intelligence, eternal energy, divinity, whatever you want to call it…does not change… ever. That space of awareness is the eternal now or eternity. We are a microcosm of the universe. The space the universe is in (eternity/ changeless) and the forms which continually arise out of eternity change and dissolve…galaxies, black holes, stars, etc) We grew out of the universe just like an apple growing out of an apple tree. The Universe is a celestial celebration of the eternal energy and we are it. When a person becomes aware that they are aware, they directly become aware that the “past” and “future” can only ever be known as thoughts in their mind now. Nobody has ever experienced the past or future… because it doesn’t exist. By the time the “future” gets here… it’s now.😂 The only thing that has remained unchanged throughout your life is your awareness of everything that comes, changes and dissolves. You ARE awareness or divine or primordial intelligence… when you go looking for your personal sense of self.. all you find are transitory thoughts and memories. The you, you think you are doesn’t actually exist. Spirituality has known this for thousands of years. There is only one aware being and it’s looking through everyone’s eyes and experiencing itself through form. There is nothing at all to be afraid of.

So, it looks like a temporary decrease in entropy causing life to exist in is necessary to help the universe increase it’s entropy and speed up it’s end which than becomes a state of super low entropy where time and distance don’t exist like at the Big Bang and the cycle of endless universes continues... CCC theory, right?

Entropy can be applied to any concept. Society, collective animal groups, relationships, and business ventures like the one mentioned. All will lead to disorder unless outside energy is intruduced such as, reproduction and investments. But remember, leading up the business, there was nothing. Or was there. An entrepreneur, putting things into meticulous order, so said business is possible. The complete opposite of entropy. Or is it? Micro entropy affecting the process but not enough to prevent its ultimate creation, the business. The answer is, ultimate entopy is only present after a singularity, which can also be applied to any concept. Society, relationships, business. It takes an outside intelligence to build up to a singularity, and this can also be applied to our reality/universe.

      @blijebij 8 місяців тому +1

@@cherrydoctorpepper7 Still, imagine empty space is filled with information and energy, when the universe expands to infininteness, imagine all those particle pairs popping up from empty space, how much energy and information that is, and then at the transsition state to big bang low entropy, Sir Roger Penrose (I personally like him so much) has to clear all that infinite, energy, information And complexity. So his model can not be right from logic deduction.
It is a strong valid point I make here. So yes I do believe in a cyclic universe, it would explain loads but then with a effortless normalisation for entropy, information and complexity.
Information is the new dawn of physics, any future model has to fit through that door.

    • @cherrydoctorpepper7
      @cherrydoctorpepper7 8 місяців тому +1

@@blijebij Yes. I understand your point. Penrose says that after heat death where the whole universe becomes photons, time gets confused as photons do not experience the passage of time. The magic of CCC has it where infinite space is equal to zero space and maximum entropy becomes equal to minimum entropy. This just happens at the special conditions of the universe after heat death. Time also loses all meaning at that point as there is no change anywhere in the universe after heat death. I like the magic of CCC as it supports my intuition, but I understand that the current understanding of the laws of physics do not support it.

Couldn't the increase, in entropy, be the result of many more events happening over the life span of the universe? Just like any event, the more times the event happens, the more chance of a different result. Which in turn, would increase entropy.

I don't think most people are aware of the difference between "locally real" and "not locally real".
    Locally real = "more real"
Not locally real = "less real"
What we apply these to are zero vs nonzero numbers. For instance in Newton/Einstein's Materialist/Empiricist "3 + 1 space-time" those dimensions (1D, 2D, 3D and 4D) are considered locally real (or, "more real") which makes 0D considered not locally real (or, "less real").
This is interesting because a year ago quantum physics proved the observable universe (1D, 2D, 3D and 4D) are indeed not locally real (or, "less real") which makes 0D considered locally real (or, "more real").
The other contender for "universal genius", well over 300 years ago, was named Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and he was correct this whole time about zero vs nonzero and Newton/Einstein have always been wrong.
Newton's calculus is about functions and there's a limit built into every operation.
Leibniz's calculus is about relations defined by constraints and the limit is a separate operation.
Zero is the most important number in mathematics and is both a real and an imaginary number with a horizon through it.
Zero-dimensional space is the most important dimension in physics and is both a real and an imaginary dimension with an event horizon through it.
Read Leibniz's Monadology and consider that the Monad is the zero-dimensional space binding our quarks together with the strong force. This side is Monas (Singularity) and the other side is Monos (Alone). That's the Holy Trinity with an event horizon between them.

Leave something alone and it will organize and settle.. light a fire ..the elements return to their pieces and order . this is true for every single thing in the universe..order is the natural state till disturbed than order returns again.. I cant see anything the way the video describes it.. Anybody else question what we are being told in this video ??

The link between a cup of coffee and the larger universe is called the "conspansive manifold" in the CTMU, derived by simply inverting an "expanding" universe into a static system with virtually "contracting" objects and time-scales. The resulting diagram is the simplest and most complete model of space time possible, meaning it's the only scientific model of space-time possible. Conspansion even models the "infinitesimal" elements of Calculus required for Physical theories.
"Strictly speaking, Newtonian mechanics and all subsequent theories of physics require a nonstandard universe, i.e. a model that supports the existence of infinitesimals, for their formulation. The effect of this requirement is to blur the distinction between physics, which purports to limit itself to the standard universe of measurable distances, and metaphysics, which can describe the standard universe as embedded in a higherdimensional space or a nonstandard universe containing infinitesimals." C.M.Langan, "Physics & Metaphysics"
"....whereas it is ordinarily assumed that the sizes of material objects remain fixed while that of the whole universe “ectomorphically” changes around them, conspansion holds the size of the universe changeless and endomorphically changes the sizes of objects. Because the universe now plays the role of invariant, there exists a global standard rate of inner expansion or mutual absorption among the contents of the universe (“cinvariance”), and due to syntactic covariance, objects must be resized or “requantized” with each new event according to a constant (time-independent) rescaling factor residing in global syntax. Second, because the rate of shrinkage is a constant function of a changing size ratio, the universe appears from an internal vantage to be accelerating in its “expansion”, leading to the conspansive dual of a positive cosmological constant..." CTMU
The "rescaling" function mentioned is the straightforward explanation of "time frame dilation", "dark matter & energy", and host of other "mysteries" scientists are all simultaneously "baffled about", while the size-ratio of the universe-to-content drives the "accelerating" expansion.
Models invalidate positions of "authority". Notice we no longer need "experts" telling us what resides at the center of the solar system, whereas Geocentric modeling required experts to dictate terms. Sheeple gonna sheeple. The CTMU is an air-tight reality model and it's embarrassing to humanity that scientists not only can't grasp these issues, they have no chance of developing any valid answers to the so-called "mysteries" of science without also invalidating their positions of "authority" on the issue.

Just read the CTMU, particularly the section on "conspansive duality" in regards to physics theories. I'll toss you some quotes...
"...with respect to a self-contained universe for which no external measure exists, no distinction can be made between the expansion of the system with respect to its contents, and the shrinkage of its contents with respect to it." CTMU
Conspansion is the only escape from the cosmological "tower of turtles"...
"Conspansive duality, the role of which in the CTMU is somewhat analogous to that of the Principle of Equivalence in General Relativity, is the only escape from an infinite ectomorphic “tower of turtles”. Were the perceptual geometry of reality to lack a conspansive dual representation, motion of any kind would require a fixed spatial array or ectomorphic “background space” requiring an explanation of its own, and so on down the tower. Conspansion permits the universe to self-configure through temporal feedback." CTMU@@koicaine1230
