Life was very, very different back then. Seeing LZ for the first time was a natural progression of my teenage life. Sure, we loved them but didn't make a big ta-do about it, in fact, there wasn't all the hype that surrounds LZ today. That came yrs.later.

I do remember a very heavy vibe around them when they came to town for a concert. It was like the Hells Angels have arrived..

It's a great story, good presented. But it could be half of the length because every part of it I heared at least twice...
And why there are so many Beatles pics thrown in without talking about them?

    THEY WROTE THE MUSIC
    PETER GRANT DID THE REST

Peter Grant was a big guy - at a LZ concert he pulled me up onto the stage and dragged me back stage to the exit door and out I went. All I did was reach up and touch Page's pant-leg ... Lol😆

Absolutely, Peter Grant's role in managing Led Zeppelin was crucial to their success. The combination of their musical talent and his management was unbeatable. Thanks for your comment!

@@ExploreStarZone268I missed half the concert thanks to Mr. Grant. But not every teenager can say "I touched J.P." They were filming at the time. My sister is in the LZ movie and that keeps the memories alive.

In 1971 Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention's humorous ditty: "The Mud Shark Incident" might answer that question.

This video is hilarious. Plant was still signed by CBS at the time of the first album, hence no songwriting credits. It had nothing to do with Pages control over the band. Do your homework next time. Lol

. . . let's not forget, they claimed songwriting credit for other people's songs that THEY merely REARRANGED !!!
