Sevendust has to be the most under rated hard rock band in history. This band has the most wide range of songs, that are not only melodic, harmonic, and outright rocking, but they blend all of these styles like a beautiful symphony of awesomeness. And not to mention, they put on a great show, not just playing their songs (like most of the artist we hear on the radio), but they want the crowd involved, they are appreciative of their fans and it shows. I cannot wait to see them Thursday at HOB.
This guy is everything I thought I was as the drummer in my dad’s garage playing with high school friends back in the 90s. I only wish I had the ability then to listen as closely and watch and learn like I do now. Damn that could’ve been me.

I saw Sevendust live in Amarillo in 2004, and this video just reaffirms what I knew then: never in my life have I seen a drummer with such intensity. Making wild, unpredictable movements, while still keeping the beat. Morgan playing the drums is truly a sight to behold. If you like the music, GO SEE SEVENDUST LIVE! You won't regret it. Their shows are next-level.

Head As a drummer I can honestly say that the drugs may be a part, but not all of the reason for his energy here. It's incredible what being behind the kit in front of a large audience can do to you. Adrenaline definitely kicks in and with his style you can see where he takes some breaks in between grooves and what-not so while I do believe he's admitted to being a drug user, it may not be the whole story.
Morgan Rose is simply amazing. His energy at live shows gets me pumped every time! There is something special about a drummer who goes primal on the kit.....Seriously, it's like he is swinging around fucking mallets or something hahaha
