Lisa Taylor receives Brenda Smith Leadership Award

Lisa, a Registered Nurse at Hospice Georgian Triangle, is the recipient of this year’s Brenda Smith Award. The award is named to honour Brenda’s passion, commitment and contributions to advancing palliative care in our region. Lisa was nominated and is well deserving of the Brenda Smith Award. She is a compassionate and caring RN who goes over and above the call of duty to support our patients and her co-workers. Lisa is a mentor and a teacher who shares her knowledge to ensure the professional growth of others around her. Above all, she is passionate about palliative care, which is evident through her leadership, work ethic and her interactions with others. We are honoured and privileged to have Lisa as part of our Hospice Georgian Triangle family.
