    Loved everything about that place except for the vandalism. Breaks my heart the people just don’t respect what isn’t theirs - the, ‘if I can’t have these things, no one will’. Disgusts me. But you guys did us proud yet again. Thanks Alex. So much appreciated! X

    What a beautiful mansion house this must have been. It is sad to see a property like this abandoned. It’s terrible how it has been vandalised by people who have no respect for properties which don’t belong to them. I would like to see this mansion being saved, before it is too late. A great explore guys, thanks for that.

      Gonna be hard hearted. Do you know how the original owners GOT the mansion? What if they got it by taking what didn't belong to them either? There are only a few ways in this life that you can get a mansion... And not everyone gets them by fair means. I'm sure Prince Andrew has a mansion... Would it bother you if it was abandoned and then inevitably looted and vandalised or the Vatican beautiful architecturally though it is... Vandalised a lot of cultures to get such a beautiful building...
      Dosent make it right or wrong, just people being people.
      Life isn't so black and white, no story is.

      @@StennMathis that’s right and all manner of reasons why someone leaves very quickly and who knows how they got the money, I herd a story about a huge vat scam where about a hundred people were involved and some were couples who had businesses ect it went into the hundreds of millions and possibly more, but two couples became friendly and they had the ability to rip off the rest of them before they got the biggest amount they had collectively taken, the two couples ripped off the rest of the group, and then got names changed ect and had about four years of hundreds of millions of bliss moving around the world on long holidays and living for months in various homes and hotels they bought, two of them were found, and they were patient hopefully locating the other two, but at that time they had not been able to get them together, so a team was put together to snatch them at the best property and country that they visited that didn’t have the quality of police like the uk for investigation ect, people entered their home and tortured them to find the other two clearly to recover as much money as possible, the torture went to the level of folding a piece of razor wire in two and ramming it into their backsides and pulling it out after being beaten raped and tortured, they were left facing each other connected to a bar that was chained to something substantial, if you were the other two, after this long story would you hang about anywhere for possessions cars ect ect,.. nope you’d want to disappear within minutes of finding that out,.. and that’s how the world can be,.. brought on by yourself or such a magnitude of reasons,.. seems good until the the piper needs paying ehh,… never herd what happened to the other two,.. they will probably never be found by their own hand or others,..

      Probably someone so much money they dont care and living somewhere else and just using mansion to store their cash because leaving it in a bank just looses buying power but because UK property always seem to go up in value least if its abandoned for many more years the value will still go up and you'll be able to sell for more than you paid for it.

      @mnomadvfx 8 місяців тому

      @@ToxCccIf it's abandoned for too long eventually the weather will compromise it and then it will just start falling part to the point that it is listed as condemned.

      It's like this because the cost to maintain it is high. Not only do you need to be wealthy to buy a mansion like this, you have to be wealthy to maintain it. The money ran low in the family and they didn't sell in time when it was beautiful and nice. Then years passed and it got worse. Now it's a demolition job. I'm sure the amount of taxes owed is why it looks like this now!🤔

    • @Anand-vx2xx
      @Anand-vx2xx 11 місяців тому

      @@MinoritySquad my guess is that they probably did decide to sell the house (albeit well after the time when anyone would want to buy it had passed) and now due to the state of the place and the sheer size of it, and the high cost of materials at the moment, nobody wants to take on this project. there could also be issues with the land itself being worth substantially more than the house which sits upon it which would also work against the family trying to sell it.

      Happens all the time, for example when an 'untouchable' guy dealing drugs goes to prison, and the government seizes the bank accounts and any money from the sale of the property, (so he and his family cannot profit from crime) or the property is auctioned off by the government, to set an example to other criminals. (Not sure I would want to buy an auctioned home, once owned by a violent gangster and then have to deal with him and his 'friends' when he is eventually released from jail.)

    I cannot remember the location but many years ago I was touring the UK and came to a river where there were all types of luxury river boats tied up, some were really old and classically beautiful. The caretaker told me that wealthy people often bought them, used them a few times and then just forgot about them. I wish I could remember where it was, I would like to return.

    Looks like the MOT on the Mini expired 17 Feb 2019 so legally it's been off the road for more than 4.5yrs.
    The last MOT only questioned a couple of tyres - I think that cracked windscreen would fail now though ...

    Has a new owner almost two years now, planning permission has gone in several times to demolish the existing property & build multiple houses on the plot, but been refused. Probably due to it's gated community setting. What will probably happen is there will be an accidental fire, damaging the building beyond repair, then, in time, planning permission will go through with no problems... that's what usually happens. Look at what happened to Fyves Court, amongst others.

    Crazy to see this over here just empty. That Porsche 997 Carrera Cab would be worth a fair few quid in good condition... What a shame. Both are around 2007/8 so I wonder how long they sat there for. Shame about vandalism, some people are the worst. Well done guys! Low mileage and well maintained ones only go for around 35k, with high mileage ones going for aboout 20k. That one in that state would probably only fetch 10-15k I'd imagine. No history, no maintenance and sat for years, even 10k would represent be a huge gamble on it!

    Wow very amazing. There was millionare who went bankrupt in a town near me way back in the late 80's Home was in the mountains worth 10's of millions of dollars and was very beautiful. The bank that owned the property paid a care taker to live in the property in one of the guest homes on the property for more than 10 years to take care of the home and property until they were able to sell the property to another millionare. Sad this property couldn't of been kept in good condition until someone else could buy it.

    Whenever I watch your videos I always feel like your the reason Tresspassing is a crime. You 2 dont leave anything not gone through. The older guy is constantly pointing out things he thinks looks valuable. I sure hope you dont take things from any of these places you explore. Abandoned or not, nothing you see or find means its free to take.Its just really obvious your friend is looking for things he finds might be valuable, instead of stepping into the past and appreciating the story behind what became of the people who once occupied these places or what happened that caused time to stand still forever.

    Seems like a weird mishmash of lime lines. Built in the forties with very random things updated in the early 90’s . Someone went through a lot of trouble to neatly run exposed wire to temporary lights in every single room and abandoned cars from the 2000’s although it seems like it was abandoned long before that.
