- In this quick video I just wanted to see how much health you could get on the bulwark shield. Using the Forge holster, Motherly Love gloves, 3pc Foundry Bulwark, Memento backpack, and the Firewall specialization with max shield health mods. I managed to almost get 27 million bulwark health. I am still testing out a few things so it might be possible to get it higher. Maybe if they add more skill efficiency rolls after TU11 in TU12 or TU13 we might be able to reach 30 million....

I don't focus on build videos, or say everything is best meta of all time. which if you watch some of the bigger guys that is about all they do... Which in the youtube world gets views.
Some people might not have any interest in this info, but I am not telling you to build this. I am just letting you know. Maybe one day you try to jump a bulwark in the DZ and even after 5 clips of your lady death his shield is still up.... well now you know why :D

the kard will only work when you have it in use, the skill tier won't work when its holstered.
Dropping +50% Shield Health holster for 4pc Foundry Bulwark might be a good idea. I've been theorycrafting a shield build with the named KARD pistol with +1 Skill Tier and Future Perfect before, but unfortunately the Overcharge from Future Perfect only procs when total skill tier is a 6 no matter if the shield is already at 6 with some blue cores. With Memento and named Alps gloves it can be even more interesting. Technician, 4pc Foundry Bulwark, Memento, 1pc Alps named gloves (rolled to Armor core). Named KARD pistol with Future Perfect. 1 red, 6 blue, 3 yellow as base, and with Future Perfect procced up to 6 yellow and able to trigger Overcharge on the 4th kill. Stack Skill Repair for Artificer Hive. I'm definitely gonna try modify my shield build for that and see how it feels. I've been using Intimidate and Adrenaline Rush with 1 red, 3 blue, 3 yellow and Liberty with 100% shield repair on Artificer Hive and it's quite resilient.
Ok I got to ask have you seen the 4pc foundry actually work.... I have tested it numerous times now and I never seem to see it. I mean I should be getting 200k per million damage over 15 seconds. so if I have my shield taken below half I should be fully repaired in a few seconds, but I never see anything even close to that.
But like I said this was just a "show" build. My current goal is a 4-3-3 build.
@@mutantcowboy7341 I'd have to check for sure as I didn't pay much attention if it actually works or is bugged (that wouldn't surprise me though), but with that build my survivability was really good. I think the best way to test it in PvE would be against some single sniper or Hyena's sniper turret. I'll try to test it tomorrow. I was also thinking about making more offensive shield build, low blue and mainly red and yellow, but I only tried it with High End gear and the result was not so good. I've been using Memento on my turret+drone build and on my Pestilence build, I'm curious how it'll work on shield build instead of Adrenaline Rush.
@@mutantcowboy7341 I checked and there is a difference in how fast my armor regenerates with 4pc Foundry Bulwark when taking damage compared to just 3pc when only 1% Armor Regen is active. I've tested it at the start of legendary District Union. Maybe it's not as much as the description says, but I definitely see my armor getting restored much faster when taking continuous damage.
I don't have the vest since I didn't run the new raid yet, so I can't check how it would work with Memento and Alps named gloves, but I switched from Intimidate and Adrenaline Rush to Memento and Spark on D&H for extra pistol damage. At the moment 2 red, 4 blue and 3 yellow with 68% Skill Repair on Artificer (need better pieces). Gonna try that to see how it compares.
If I may offer an opinion, the 4 pc. ability was blatantly obvious after initial release (you could actually see the shield health bar bouncing left and right as you took damage and the shields regen and foundary did their thing). Then the changed foundary, and the 4 pc ability has not acted the same way since that update. I can't say if its working or not, just that I can't see it on my screen like I did then.
@@myslavename4445 Yeah it is a not as obvious now.... I have seen it some times. But it is never for 15 seconds. I mean if my shield is blasted by 2 guys in about 2 seconds I should be getting about 200k a second for 15 seconds. but usually it gives me a slow trickle more... I almost want to say it is pointless now.... but I got another thing to try with it.
I have been waiting for your best TU11.1 Pistol Shield build. You have the best pistol builds and i would love to see your take on it with this latest TU.
Technician specialization could be also dope in this one , firewall mods not that impressive in a long run , but I’m talking about pvp potential :) I’m wondering what means level 7 for shields ?
Yeah I don't think the memento backpack counts technician and the kard 45 skill tier, which is fair imo, other wise I will be running around with a 8 skill tier build and get 80% skill effeciency.
Well 75% but yeah... if future was kicking in 90% :D Still it is not like you would really be OP. 10 seconds to run and grab tags as a skill build, not a risk free proposition.
@dayum lol You have to hold the weapon in order to benefit from the skill tier, some skills won't allow you to hold the weapon, like the chem launcher, so you don't get the benefit from it.
yeah i just messed with some gear and its still only a tier 6 shield, you can even get upto 8 technically on those icons,but its still only tier 6🤷♂️
Been over 2 years since I messed with that, if I remember correctly they did some patching shortly after I asked the Devs about it.
My question is would it get stronger if you ran all blues maxed
You would not get the skill efficiency from the Memento.

What is the highest amount of shield health you can have while also being immune with disrupt?
Not exactly sure but you should be able to hit about 20-22 mil in the current patch with a fully buffed memento and disrupt resistance.

So I was playing today new set up hunters fury. had a 1.7mill shield I was getting hammered then before I jumped offline I noticed it was sitting at 4million how?
Yeah the UI has always been an issue, doubt it will ever get 100% fixed. This is why I used a lot of math to tell me what I should have vs what the game told me I had.
why u wanna use SkillTier for your sheild, AmorCore is even better, it buf you and shield at the same time, i whas wondering WHY ST
Armor is only better if you have no intention of using another skill. With yellow tiers, a healing skill and the right talents/stats, a shield can tank far more damage than just going with blues. Now for PVP generally armor is better because the shield is pretty weak, but in legendary missions the shield works better and armor is rather weak.

Honestly I never really got an answer from the Devs.... Keep in mind it was like 2 years ago. They did release shield patches shortly after this, but it did not fix the visual ui issues. However my shield health did have a dramatic drop when I went to test the new gear (at least back then it was new) Anyway I forget what I changed but my math said I should of had like 28m shield health. Well I only got 22-24 million.... so either it was a tier glitch and it got fixed or it was something else that they patched. In short I have no idea what was wrong but the devs changed something shortly after this video. So as of now I think it is just a visual issue if you see it.

I never got word from the Devs about it. I think they fixed it shortly after making the video.... Guess they watched the video :D Have not seen that much shield health since. But yeah I think it was a Memento stacking issue.

The video is about 3 months old, it is possible that it was a bug or glitch and has been fixed. I think you can get around 24-25M with the new brand set.
With this build i can get 20 million this not the same? This not right that you show me???. This is falsk information??. Not good guys. Show more ???

Off subject: only cowards hide behind a bulwark shield. It's also used as a virgin build. Also known as noob build.
Non noob players don't waste their skills on a bulwark shield. So, if you encounter players in the DZ who are hiding like cowards behind big shields, you can immediately tell they have no skills or just say noobs.
Everybody can play what he/she wants. But noobs use big shields.
Personally i don't use a shield at all, i don't use foam, I'm no meta build copy cat, im not in the back with a sniper, not even a skill build.

Maybe you are shit at the game if you need a shield.. Guessing you are a shield (or meta) user. But if you have skills i assume you wont waste them.

Yes i get killed because i play high risk high reward but i also kill a lot. I have a good build, no copycat meta or shield build tho. If you don't use that it will not mean you are directly no good player. To counter these cheesy/meta builds it doesnt need always a counter build. Awareness and positioning helps a lot, you know that?
The game provides tools for players but players choose if they waste skills or not.
