I have this for my daughter to do in the fall! I was very glad for your review and discussion about it. It is so interesting how some of these curriculum just take so much longer to get through, and I one of those people who really want to get through the whole thing. So, I will need to, figure out how we can make that happen, also ensuring that my daughter’s first year of high school isn’t completely crazy. Lol.

Something I will definitely keep in mind. My oldest student is going into 9th, so I think we will wait a bit and do something similar to what you and your son did. Thanks for the in depth flip through!😊

This was a very good review! May I ask what did you use for your son's dysgraphia, he has really neat handwriting.

We used Handwriting without Tears in elementary school. I haven't used anything since. He has a hard time getting his thoughts down on paper, but he does have very nice handwriting :)

    How can these be impartial?

I'm unsure where you are coming from when asking this question, but this curriculum takes the word of God as the foundation of truth and compares that with other beliefs. It's not about being fair and treating everyone equally.... it's about what the word of God says and establishing that as your uncompromising standard of what you believe. Critically important!!!!

@@homeschoolteenswithjenny That is assuming their interpretation of scritpture is accurate. All sorts of people use their biblical interpretation to knock other Christians over the head and proclaim " It's God who says this not me!" Eastern Orthodoxy does take the word of God as foundational. Infact the best bible study I have ever encountered is The Whole Counsel of God on Ancient Faith Radio.

Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox counterfeit Christianity? Wow! As an Eastern Orthodox that is offensive, but also I never teach my children that Protestantism is counterfeit. Sad The problem with this book is you are assuming they are teaching accurately what Eastern Orhodox is. I doubt they are. I converted to Eastern Orthodox 14 years ago and have loved Christ my whole life and have only sought after Him. Even when I was a Protestant I stayed clear of curriculum like this.
