Seems weird that the reviewer keeps comparing this car to the M340i. I suppose it's theoretically true that a fully optioned CT4 comes close in price to a base M340i. But in the real world, the average selling price of an M340i is probably $15,000 to $20,000 more than the typical Premium Luxury CT4, so this is an apples vs. oranges comparison. And reviewer lists a bunch of ways that the CT4 comes up short or cheaped out, but oddly says that if he wanted the car, he'd probably get the twin turbo V6-- a trim that starts in the mid-$60ks. Huh?! It's not like the blackwing has more rear-seat legroom or a bigger navigation screen or different window buttons.
I'm 6'4". I own a 24' CT4 Sport 2.0T with options. My biggest complaint is how far forward the "B" pillar is. Very difficult to get in and out of. Once in, it's one of the most comfortable cars I've owned. Yay! sedans!
Chrome looks a Hella of a lot better than all this black, ugly shit. Black wheels remind me of when hubcaps would fall off the wheel and the dirty, ugly rim was exposed.
The super cruise control system could encourage someone to sleep behind the wheel. No sure how wise it is to use this. I suppose the next feature would be some kind of toilet seat option; so the driver wont need to pullover when nature calls.
I really think that the CT4 is a step backwards from the ATS, especially the ATS, coupe, premium performance that I own. I don’t get why Cadillac feels they still have to squeeze sedans into a platform.that should be a premium coupe. Lexus make coupes they’re very compelling next to this.
Nobody buys coupes; they’re super niche. They only sell about 15K CT4s a year as it is; a coupe might sell 1,000 or so a year… not enough to make a profit.
And doesn’t the four-cylinder engine require super gas? All four cylinders run higher octane today because it’s one of the reasons they can generate the power they do in such a small block but my 3.6 takes regular and still puts out 335 hp so I do think it’s the 3.6 is better engine.
He's the Meryl Streep of YT car reviewers. You never know what accent he'll use! He's American here but British on his other channel. Hey I'd love to hear you do a French or Italian accent please!!
Just use your British accent all the time! I love it and it makes your videos unique! Otherwise you sound like Doug DeMuro and who the hell wants to sound like him! 😀
You mean the CT4 V or black wing. And last I checked BMW doesn’t have the ride quality that the Cadillac does ;) talk all we want about power it has enough to make you smile and many people like the sound of the engine. Remember, this is not the V, so why compare it to the M? and it’s not German. It has that going for it! I know after WW2 Americans seem to have gone for all German and Japanese stuff, 🤷♂️ but we make great cars too that Germany doesn’t have us beat in every way. It also has a different cool factor cause who wants to look like everyone else??
This has the same body style as the Chevy Malibu and Honda Accord. A lot of car makers are using the same body styles or body and making them look their own
Who buys a Cadi/BMW/Merc and worries about eco mode? My ATS-V may or may not have an eco mode. I don’t know. Mine stays in track mode, or snow and ice mode if the weather is bad.
You bought a ct4 and don’t like it? I’m attracted to the super cruise- Not many gas engines have that feature. I’d like to know what you don’t like about it!
Special thanks to our Patrons for their support of the channel!
I love the smaller displays. And the German cars are money pits, that spend to much time in the shop.
No one buying one of these is buying it to put adults in the back
😂 💯
In iraq 2021/2022 CT4 is between 20 thousand and 25 thousand is it worth it?
I just ordered a 2024 ct4-v. I personally like the sound, but that's subjective. And the magnetic suspension is quite an upgrade.
For how much?
@@thegivingwolf6447 MSRP minus GM employee discount. I added super cruise 2 package and a sunroof.
I got a 2020 V red. It's fun when i want it to be, then good on gas for road trip.

Is the base 2.0 Engine reliable overall with the 8 speed automatic transmission?
Great job.
Great review! I’m actually looking into getting a ct4 but after seeing this, hmmmm. I might have to reconsider my choices. 🤔
Love your reviews bro much love, but Cadillac is my pick over BMW all day.
@@joshbutcher4720 fair play 🙏
7:30 its not a twin scroll design turbo. its called dual valute which gm uses on this truck motor.
My CT4 2.0 is dead quiet and quick
How is the engine and 8 speed automatic transmission?
In Canada, a BMW M340i costs $18,000 more than the Caddy, not $3,000 where did you get your figures? Immediate fail of a review.
and even than you get nothing with it. No magna ride, no sound system, and 14 inch garbo wheels.

its got cameras to look for that

still waiting for the ct4 Blackwing review :)
I'm fine with not having those seats

My CT4 turbo gets about 35 MPG mixed, so it more-or-less evens out. Plus lower emissions.
It's suggested but not "required" for the CT4
Super gas??? Do you mean higher octane?? Super gas. Lol
It's recommended but not required
“Boomerspec?”🙄

Where does one get a rear-drive Malibu or Accord?
Get your eyes checked. Geeze
Cadillac has made a mistake because Inline 4 engines are super week, so dirty and cricking.
Says a guy that drives a kia
What’s crazy is this is gapping scats
My V is pretty quick. Still an aggressive 4 like my ex lol the V in any new 4th gen V's are pretty quick.
The non V spec has 310 hp and 350 f/p’s of torque.
If you need more power buy a black-wing.
Lol. Bullshit
Noted..... Cadillac is Junk...Still.....has no Eco mode....lol.....
My 2022 CT4 Premium Luxury DOES have a so called "eco mode" that I rarely use. But it has it. BTW my CT4 is definitely NOT "junk".
Who buys a Cadi/BMW/Merc and worries about eco mode?
My ATS-V may or may not have an eco mode. I don’t know. Mine stays in track mode, or snow and ice mode if the weather is bad.
I am do angry i bought this piece of CRAP!!
