      @Ochirsum in order to devide you need to be united. so mongols werent united at the time of Qing empire neither now. Buryat will barely understand Khalka mongolian and Kalmyk for them is a pain in the ass to understand. so stop promoting mongolian solidarity it was never a thing. and you;d better check troops lists of Qing dinasty army because there were lots of khalka mongols in the army that fought against Jungars. and I see nobody talking about cultural influences that Qings left to current mongols starting with the language and words and ending with clothes, saddles and so on.

I suggest looking up the history by era, like medival Portugal, colonial Portugal, Victorian Portugal, and so on. Look up portugese empire. Genghis Khan did not conquer the whole China. Song dynasty was fell by his grandson.
    One biggest legacy is all the areas ruled by Mongles are still under authoritarian rule. I think the psychological imprint Mongles left was brutality is the supreme method for ruling, not technology, not civil government and certainly not through kindness. This is part of the reasons that although China was one of the first republic in Asian (and before many European powers) fell back to communist dictatorship eventually.

Or I could invent a time machine (if I were the inventor) that would let me go back in time so I can meet Genghis Khan in person in order to know more about him. I wish time travel is possible.

    Yeaa everyone asking why “didn’t you got into how modern Mongolia started?” Yea they skipped the Jindandao incident which most mongol historian say where modern Mongolia started.
    It happened during Qing rule and was done by the Jindandao secret society, originally it was against qing and mongols even though they were living in mongol territory. Over hundreds of thousands of mongols were massacred and then the Chinese Communist said it was a revolt against their “feudal lords” I question how 150,000 to 500,000 were all feudal lords? Also the fact being that all Dokuments from the Mongolian banners disappeared.(A banner is an administrative division of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Was used during the Qing dynasty.) They jumped over it.

    Nice video but 1 small thing. The territorial peak under 1 Khaan was during Ogodei Khaan not Khubilai. It was when whole Empire was under 1 Khaan and was still called Mongolian Empire, then partition into Khanates. Moreover after the partition Khubilai just couldn’t technically be the only ruler no he had several competitors. Khubilai dreamed of uniting them again but it didn’t happen.

    • @tyrantphotius_7948
      @tyrantphotius_7948 2 роки тому +1

      @@TK-my7jg Hey, well we don't call our country "Greece" in greek it is actually Hellas (in modern greek Hellada) and the people are Hellenes and things are Hellenic. Thus, that's probably why you call it somewhat Hellas too because of how we call it. The Hellenes were the inhabitans of mainland Greece in the ancient years, in Greek mythology Hellene was the founder of the Greeks and son of Deukalion and Pyrra the first humans. The term "Greek" comes from Greek as well but we barely use it (mostly for mocking), howver it was adopted by the Romans and then to English, that's why we are called Greeks.
