9:49 - On the right trouble trail… Water in fuel. I had two neighbor vehicles that fueled at the same gas station, both had starting and engine stumbling trouble. When I check their fuel, it looked to be mixed with diesel / oily look. (Power levels were doggy with the diesel mix). ||| My pickup truck would shut off after a big bump in / on the road, at low speeds - that wound up being water in the gas. (Able to see the water at the bottom - inside the tank).
Observation: Watching the Off Road and Chill version of you guys on this trail.............Brittany does not like flying insects. Lol. Saw ya in the background shooing them away from your face. Good stuff.
30th! Jeeps and Gremlins! Y’all really are automotive enthusiasts! Clunks and picks, and nothin’. This Country is full of so many beautiful places! Diff stuck? Just move the boulder. Oh, that Mud! Eewww! And Kevin figures out how to avoid the mud and avoid the engine surge! LiteBriteNationDevilsDownInGeorgia!
Guess it's time to set up the Chris signal cause the Step Child is telling I miss Chris! I hate it when my Jeep gets temperamental she gets way to expensive when she does that! Hopefully you guys don't have that problem! Great video.
Both jeeps surging and having issues in the same place is due to the curse of Christine. Google it. 1958 on a dirt road that used to pass right through there is where it all happened. Weird thing is Christine's owner was "Mary Britney Smith" who's first husband was James "Kevin" Brighthouse but she changed her name after he disappeared in the area in 1959. The last time they saw him was on "Light chapel road".... Too many weird coincidences here.
I thoroughly appreciate the trial and error & the attentive detail to find the behavior in vehicle . People often forget to pay attention to the behaviors 👊🏻🥃
I hope Nitto was watching that climb at 7.00 ..it was ether going up or breaking an axle! The anti-squat in that jeep would not fit my driving style but somehow Kevin makes it work.
Luna complains how low the PR 80 sits, then shocked that her dana 60 spider gears are destroyed. The Dyantrac PR 80 has been bulletproof for us. I have seen several 60s explode due to wheel hope or loading. Good luck
Sometimes you can disconnect the battery (consult vehicle with diode)while running and verify the voltage output on the gauge . You might clean the maf and see ;)
Sometimes simple builds are better at rock climbing, this jeep is far far from simple. I’m not into rock climbing but seems to be a perfect hobby to put a big hole into a bank account.
You must be a new sub. They wheeled the stepchild on 33’s or 35’s for months when they first bought it a few years ago. As the channel grew so did the stepchild 🤙
I think Kevin has plenty of skill to run a “budget build,” but I would still enjoy watching him wheel in something like an 83 Toyota with detroits and 37’s.
There should be some sort of pressure switch/valve that controls the hydraulic pressure when under load, and if it's not working properly it would cause that surging when you turn hard. I'm not sure exactly how that pump works, but that new pump may have an issue, or something may just need to be adjusted.
Definitely soundless like you both got bad gas at your last stop. Try 4 ounce of methyl hydrate in the gas tank , this will make the water 🔥. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h.
Guys go get a domestic, arb or other good brand fridges . It’s a must have . Cold beer, tequila ice cream ect ect. Keep munchies in there . Get one trust me . I love mine .
On your Jeeps ,sounds like it also could be a grounding issue or vacuum mayb got stretched. I guess I’m gonna have to keep watching now to find out what you find out.. good luck
Hay Kevin I don't if they make this product it's OutLaw gas treatment I use to use it all the time. I've gotten several bad gas ⛽️ I have 4.3 GMC SONOMA.
I think I got bad gas a few weeks ago in my Hemi (5.7L Grand Cherokee). I didn't have surging but it has been starting harder than normal. But like many others here, I do think that's your most likely culprit.
@litebrite If your running a tune on the computer for the v8 swaps might be the tuning due to higher or lower altitude depending were the altitude level was at were it got tuned??
I’m new to jeeps I have a 2015 two door jk 6 cylinder 6speed manual sitting on 35s what’s a good first upgrade I’m in eastern Oregon the Pendleton area
@@packbacker10 I agree. I did 4.88's and my rpm at highway speed matched the rpm with the stock sized tires. Second upgrade which I suggest to do at the same time as the gears is Detroit Lockers, front and rear.
I noticed the front was disconnected also. Interested to hear your feedback, what is different about how the Jeep performs and overall pros and cons. I remember the trail in Arizona you thought you could make if both disconnected. I am just curious how much difference it makes.

I'm giving Luna a thumbs up for her hotness and Jeeping skills.
You guys work well together , 2 excellent channels !!! Love you guys !
Great vid....I feel your frustration with that hemi hunting problem. Thanks B&K 👍

You know a good UA-camr when your looking for there next video. UK here loving the one and only #litebritenation ❤❤❤
Wow, that sucks. If you only had a, what was it? Oh, right a CHRIS !
Guess it's time to set up the Chris signal cause the Step Child is telling I miss Chris! I hate it when my Jeep gets temperamental she gets way to expensive when she does that! Hopefully you guys don't have that problem! Great video.
Brit&Kev, the stepchild’s wrap looks sick as hell
It's painted

I've off-roaded a few places where rocks had magnetism in them causing all sorts of weird electrical issues on a few different vehicles
I thoroughly appreciate the trial and error & the attentive detail to find the behavior in vehicle . People often forget to pay attention to the behaviors 👊🏻🥃
Funny when Kevin sometimes doesn’t realize how close he is to certain things and you Brittany let him know as he is driving away from said thing 😂😮❤
Yep, in my neck of the woods. If I had of known I'd rode over in my jeep and joined ya. I'm only 35 min away. 😂😂
I hope Nitto was watching that climb at 7.00 ..it was ether going up or breaking an axle! The anti-squat in that jeep would not fit my driving style but somehow Kevin makes it work.
Great job again.
Luna complains how low the PR 80 sits, then shocked that her dana 60 spider gears are destroyed. The Dyantrac PR 80 has been bulletproof for us. I have seen several 60s explode due to wheel hope or loading. Good luck
Love seeing you wheeling. But there's to much mud there. Hope you find the problems. Take care God bless.
We go to RR a lot it's on of our favorite places to wheel.
That's exactly what I was thinking, ya'll musta got some bad gas at your last stop.
It's just some gremlins getting loose on the jeeps. Just chase the issues out and party on. Happy Trails to you both.

That rock garden is the hell mouth for hemi's...
Good to see you getting technical.
The reason both hemi engines are having problems is obvious.
That Rock Park used old ford junked chassis as land fill before they added the rocks.
Jeeps doing jeep things!
Glad they're not doing airplane things. It would take offroad n chill to another level.
Thank you I want to do a gear change and do arb lockers
Make a stop in Gilbert Minnesota for the off road park.
Sometimes simple builds are better at rock climbing, this jeep is far far from simple. I’m not into rock climbing but seems to be a perfect hobby to put a big hole into a bank account.
Y’all got that mechanical injection burnout surge 😂🥳🥃👊🏻Party time !!
Luv to see the stepchild in the burnout pit hahahah
It was nice seeing youbguys at jeep beach this year. Next time yall come through nj, hit me up.
Great video thank you!
Time for you guys to go back to your roots. Stepchild is a buggy in reality. Lets see what kevins skills are in affordable build.
It would be comical to see them try to wheel in older mechanical jeeps.
It's what they wanted it to be, but without a shop and a tech, once it starts having problems, it's gonna be interesting...
All the hemi swapped jeeps are buggy. Just when you think that you have all the bugs worked out another one comes back.
You must be a new sub. They wheeled the stepchild on 33’s or 35’s for months when they first bought it a few years ago. As the channel grew so did the stepchild 🤙

coincidentally, I just fixed a positive cable that was snug, but not tight on my starter lug...doesn't take much to cause problems
No idea whats wrong with either but I do know you BEAT THAT HORSE TO DEATH! LOL
Electrical problems in both vehicles. Perhaps magnetism in the rocks. I think you found Bermuda Triangle North. Kevin...Squirrel!
Love the rock crawling, but i want to see yall mudding.
Your Jeep is finally getting dirty. LOL
Time to go to Good Evening Ranch in Canvas WV.
Living your best lives!
Kevin and his squirrels same as my adhd

Maybe the tune not right for the elevation change from west to east coast.
Hay Kevin I don't if they make this product it's OutLaw gas treatment I use to use it all the time. I've gotten several bad gas ⛽️ I have 4.3 GMC SONOMA.
The trail scared the hemis lol.

Been a rough trip bracking in the new mods. Best of luck hope it gets easier
Solar storm taking out Jeeps and emoticons lol
Did you both get gas at the same place? Sounds like you both got some bad fuel
Tell Luna to look for bad chassis grounds first. Could be the alternator but they usually either work or don’t work.
Lol the jeeps just did not sound happy they are probably mad at each other 😂😂
It’s the solar flare😂😂😂❤️🤍💙
It’s the earths magnetic field combined with the gravitational pull causing a magnetic distortion
Some spots will do that
Solar flares. My employees mazda done the same weird shit last weekend
Fookin send it
Hey come to the Red River Gorge
Slade Kentucky
This comment should be 114 😂 love those jeeperrs creepers 👀 😂😂 keep em videos up 🆙 ❤
Maybe Solar flairs were screwing with your electronics.
@litebrite If your running a tune on the computer for the v8 swaps might be the tuning due to higher or lower altitude depending were the altitude level was at were it got tuned??
Water in the gas unfortunately with there's and I could see yalls being what Kevin said
Oh it's to bad you don't have super Chris with you.
I would look at the tps
Haha how to know you're a west wheeler... "eww mud!"
7:08 #Nitto is selling tires just from this shot.
Are you getting a phantom draw off that new sound system?
Pixies pulling wires
Solar flares🤷🏻♂️ there’s a lot of that going on .. very weird that it happened to both of you
Wait Lunas rear gears are still broke. Why did they not have that fixed at Red Scorpion in Tampa
They didn’t have them in stock but she also needs a new locker which they didn’t have.
Did you both fuel up at the same spot? Bad gas is my guess. (9 min in anyway)
Nope. Luna filled up in Florida. We filled up by that park
Y’all must have pissed off something🧖🏼
Why did your front hub move inside rime? You can see it going up that 1st rock
Did you all use a pulley on the alternator that slows down it's RPM so it survives performance use, and then spend a ton of time at low engine speed?
Definitely acting like bad fuel!
Ya'll need to go to a mud fest. Florida louisiana Texas . Alittle something different for the channel.
I’m new to jeeps I have a 2015 two door jk 6 cylinder 6speed manual sitting on 35s what’s a good first upgrade I’m in eastern Oregon the Pendleton area
Being on 35’s is already the first step, upgrading to 4.56 or 4.88 gears will make a huge difference on and off road
@@packbacker10 I agree. I did 4.88's and my rpm at highway speed matched the rpm with the stock sized tires. Second upgrade which I suggest to do at the same time as the gears is Detroit Lockers, front and rear.
lockers and a winch
Lockers if ya don’t have them? ❤
A lock for wallet
Lite Britw
👍❤️ #Jellynation
Bad gas. If you both filled up at the same station that would explain why both are showing similar symptoms.
👍
Why have anti rock sway bars if you’re just going to disconnect them?
Rear is still connected. Testing out if I want the front connected or not. Kind of liking it without it completely
I noticed the front was disconnected also. Interested to hear your feedback, what is different about how the Jeep performs and overall pros and cons. I remember the trail in Arizona you thought you could make if both disconnected. I am just curious how much difference it makes.
Came here for the CHRIS comments hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Is your jeep upset at leaving Florida? LOL
Did yall both get gas at the same place?
Nope. Luna filled up in Florida.
clean the throttle body. Seems like a idle air control problem.
Frist post 🎉
Is 9 1/2 too long?
I don't usually watch cuz it is no fun for the average guy to watch $200K plus jeeps breaking in one way or another
Maybe your cars are self-teaching and now practice "power breaking "
Maybe a UFO is trying something out on your Jeep.😂 Hahahahaha 😂
:),, bet you cant wait to get back out west away from the mud.. ugh..
Alternators are like women… they never put out enough..
Electro magnetic interference
You guys are missing Chris more and more it would seem!
Married was doo doo mud, that’s diarea mud
Georgia got that shit gas, Alabama gas is superior! Roll Tide
