That is a good way to do it but to even it is would get a level thing I seen people use for / to level there driveways with pot wholes and to pick up trash 🗑 people left behind I'm sure people are selling some in 2024 on what ever the sits are i am new to this stuff but yhat is what I would do . And I am just giving you an idea 💡 not being rude so have a good day.
Elijah looked so happy and proud. You’re a awesome Dad, Sam. Teach them young while they find fun in learning. I’m proud of you Sam. Love from Ohio 🌱🌸🌲💚
@@mykee426 Loved Alan's song 'Drive.' I taught both of my girls to drive manual shift in our old Nissan farm and plow truck when they were old enough to reach the pedals. Then, both drove our 68' Mustang 3 speed to their proms. They ride ATV's and the youngest is pretty darn good in the fields with our family tractor. Elijah was smiling big near the end when he said 'Awesome, I may have to take it for more of a ride!'
All children need loving and RESPONSIBLE parents like you to guide them on the path to responsible adulthood. Great garden you're devoping, literally and figuratively!!
My grandson learned how to drive our cub cadet at that age! It does make you proud to watch your kids and grandkids learn a new skill! Fond memories! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awww look at his great big smile. What a great job he did. Loving how you are teaching & praising your children, special memories that they will always treasure & remember,
Hello Sir, you are a very special father. My son is grown now. (He turned 30 this past May 21st)he was always helping me with everything I did when he was young sometimes the job didn’t get done as quickly but that wasn’t important, seeing him learn something valuable was and seeing the big smile on his face when I praised him for the good job he did gave me such a good feeling inside. He gave me a grandson (6yrs. Oldnext month)that I do the same thing with. When I watched your boy get off that tractor 🚜 you could tell that he had grownup by completing that task and making you so proud. That moment took me back as I am now going to be 62 in July and do miss those days terribly!you even look like my son, he’s 30, and a big guy like you, your beard is just like his also. I just came across your video by chance, and something told me to watch it. I gave a thumbs up 👍🏻 and subscribed. Can’t wait to watch more!!!! You have touched my life and definitely made my day. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. Martin in Frostproof Fl.
I really enjoyed your video . Keep them comin . I've had my 122 for 25 + years and man o man they are a work horse . ( have hi/lo in mine very handy) Kinda makes me want to do tractor videos again .
Thanks, will do! I've got a creeper gear assembly for the cub but haven't put it on yet. Wishful thinking is that this winter I might be able to tear it down, add the creeper, and give it a mini-resto job to keep it going longer... here's hoping! :)
Sam great job on teaching Elijah to use the tractor 🚜. You just gave him the confidence to keep learning. The smile on his face said it all . My father taught all 6 of my siblings to do for ourselves. I even taught my husband how to change the oil in our vehicles, how to shoot a gun , how to fix whatever needed to be done. All because my father gave me the confidence to try. I’m now 63 and I still have all those great memories of all my father did for me. Thanks for being a great DAD.👍
Be still my heart! Ya'll have such sweet boys! My boys are all grown and gone now. This made my day. Seeing Elijah smiling and full of pride was absolutely amazing!
Made my day too!! Nothing like seeing the young boys finding out that they can do the same job dad does. It's a day that will go down in infamy as fr as elijah is concerned.
This is the reason I still have my father's 90s craftsman tractor. We did a lot on that thing when I was a kid, it's nostalgic. They will remember this stuff for the rest of their lives.
Elijah looked like he had been driving that tractor for ages! Good job! It’s good to start them off young. It builds character and pride and teaches them responsibility. Go dad!💕
Getting them involved teaches them so many life lessons. I was responsible for mowing our 3 acres lawn (2 planted to pine trees), when I was between 10 and 12. I also learned how to maintain equipment.
I enjoy watching the kid drive the tractor is that pride you get when you teach your kids to ride a bike or drive a car, had a laugh when you told him you was going to let him drive more tractors and he said or maybe you should buy me my own tractor lol smart kid
He did great. 👍🏻. The first time our son drove our mower, he hit a tree. He’s 28 now. We always tell him to not hit a tree, when he tells us that he’s going out to mow. Lol.
brings back soooo many memories when my dad begin to teach me so many things!!!! specifically once when i learned to mow i didn't realize i was singing so loud...folks working in the garden, YELLED at me and i finally looked their way and they were clapping at my singing!!!!!! your such great parents to get the kids involved!!!
The look of pride on Elijah's face from wanting to do a great job for you, was very moving. I've no doubt, they have their 'testing' moments for you... they're children, but, goodness me, you are doing a fabulous job bringing up your beautifully spoken boys. Working with you meant the world to that little man ❤️ great job Elijah! 🤗🌈🐻🇬🇧
Great Job Dad !! Great Job Son !! I can see why Dad's proud, looks like you've got 2 cute, well behaved, and hard working kids !! Not sure how I landed on your video, but I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it ! Thanks for sharing the moments.. !
He’s so cute. I could see his confidence growing with each pass. The life I wished I could’ve had when mine were small. Now it’s the grands lol. I wish I had time with them. Now I’m old need a farm helper. Maybe I should hire a kid lol. Kudos.
He did an excellent job. Wish my dad would have spent more time with me and taught me more. Still proud to call him my dad. You should try to surprise him in the future with a tractor project. You and him working on another classic and get it running. Be safe y'all.
When you allow your children to TRY on their own it builds confidence. You gave simple instructions and turned him loose. You taught so much more than how to run the tractor. You taught him how to approach any challenge in life. You believed in him and gave him confidence to believe in himself.
That really helps a kid have confidence when they start to drive. I grew up driving any farm equipment we had and was never intimidated to drive a car or straight stick truck.
My dad got me started early too on the ole craftsman GT6000, I couldn't reach the clutch so he made a T out of 2x4s and hose clamped it to the pedal so I could reach. Nice to see kids today still interested in stuff like this
that would be a pleasure job dad. he looks like he enjoyed that. way to go dad. everyone says looks like mom i think they have just a touch of you both in them nice looking bunch.
Are the cub 122 hard to find with hydraulics and creeper ?? I am in eastern nc and i havent seen to many with hydraulics and creeper that are a good solid tractor

Most people just pull a small section of chain link fence with some weight on it to smooth out dirt.....
That is a good way to do it but to even it is would get a level thing I seen people use for / to level there driveways with pot wholes and to pick up trash 🗑 people left behind I'm sure people are selling some in 2024 on what ever the sits are i am new to this stuff but yhat is what I would do .

There is no better feeling for a young man than dad's trust and confidence in him! Well done dad! Very well done.
Liked that you taught him the brake first. You're a great dad. These boys are going to be just fine.
