Let's take a day trip to Hive Secundus, and make it a speedy one, because that is one place you do not want to be at night!
Thanks to @officialwarhammer I got my hands on a creator copy of Necromunda: Hive Secundus to make content and tutorials with for you guys. Hive Secundus is a whole other new world for playing cool campaigns within and I'm very excited to try it out soon. I kicked things off with my Hive Fleet Morrigan scheme for the Malstrain Genestealers and the Malstrain Tyramites. You can check out my other Tyranid super simple and fast schemes below if you'd prefer! Here's how and why I prime the way I do!
Two different rattle/spray cans are used-one full solid coat of black, and a lighter coat of grey seer sprayed from above to add light/dark areas. The lighter coating of grey seer adds a small amount of grit(too small for the eye to see) from to give the contrast paint a better surface to cling too. Contrast paints don’t work well on black primers, the colours won’t show up well.

I agree on the basic before finishing. I usually at least paint the bass with texture paint. This helps me push through the ugly phase.

Agree that having a finished base makes a huge impact.

I'm glad genestealer cults are getting some coverage my favorite faction in 40k, I wish I could fine people in my local area for the game I have so much gsc I could use for it
Yeah it’s tough when you can’t get games with people 😞 there’s probably other people thinking the same thing in your area so make sure you’re getting the word out that you’re looking for a game!

I would be interested in seeing an unboxing of Secundus. I have never played this game though I have purloined some of the scenery for other sets as some of it really fits in with 40k Ork stuff.
