Hard Reset CANON MF632CDW manager id erasing wifi reset

- This is the only way to hard reset this printer when you forgot the manager id and pin. After 50min waiting on line with canon, hope this saves you a couple of minutes.
Canon support send me a link to your vid... a week of emailing with them and the result was was to wach your video.. priceless..

Just one more tip, DO NOT forget to restart your gateway/modem after successfully connecting your printer to your home network....

I can also confirm this work on the mf733Cdw. Found 1 site that said to force turn on with the reset button, but couldn't find anything resembling a reset button at all. >.

I can't thank you enough, Steve. What a printer! I can't stand it, but I'm stuck with it. Do not buy this printer folks, unless you like spending several, several hours for nothing to get the same crappy images, print quality, and none of the adjustments working...ever. Not 1 time have the adjustments ever worked. Always says (after taking about 2 minutes, "Could not perform adjustments".

For some reason my printer suddenly had a management user id/pw and I’m the only one who uses it. Well, couldn’t after that. You saved me from going full Office Space on a relatively new printer.

To anyone struggling, its because you can't see in this video that the sound button is on the left of the touch panel. It's a literal physical button while the other presses are virtual touchscreen based buttons.

My printer MF445 kept offline even it is in the same network. Retype my network and it won't help. I will have to reboot every time if I needed to print. With your instructions, it went back to factory setting and I retyped the network key and all back to normal. Thanks.
