In our ancient musical theory and music dictionary they mention about 22 shruties, how they are used and connected to 12 notes of our Indian classical music

Pranam Guru ji ....Guru ji how can I find the right scale ? I feel comfortable in natural c .But I heard that G # or A # are right scale for girls.But everytime I start with A# I feel a stress in my throat . Then I told my Mam to change it but she said it will be all right having done lot of riyaz .But after years I feel the same strain. Please help me guru ji.🙏🙏🙏
No problem in singing in C scale, kishori amonkar sings in c scale, pitch is person specific not gender specific, You should have range of 2 octaves or its ok if its lesser you can develop by riyaz, if you can go atleast ga in c scale easily choose C scale.. but do riyaz of kharaj and tara saptak, both..
It's not true that there are only 12 frequencies all over the world. Please study the Arabic, Persian and Turkish music where they also use quarter tones.
