Let's be honest here, in reading through these threads on the numerous excellent Saints podcasts.... Most NFL fans can see and read that a very good percentage of Carr's defenders, here on a Saints page, are Raiders Fans. You know it. you feel it. Make all of the excuses you want. But the great ones overcome, no excuses, no reasons, you as a fan see it unfold right in front of you, as a fan, you know. Carr is not the guy, neither was Winston, nor was Dalton. The Saints have once again proved how slow they are to learn from the past. How in the Hell is Carr an "upgrade"? over the two named above. The stats do not lie; let's hear the excuses.

DC is still the best quarterback in the division. This division is no longer weak. It wasn’t weak last year. Tampa did win a play off game and we were better
Tampa only won the Division because Jameis gave up a 17 point leave to Greenbay other wise the Saints would’ve went 10-7

We shouldn’t have been 9-7 anyway we had a weak schedule u prolly one of them ppl dat was makin excuses fah Derek Carr when it’s obvious dude ain play well at all this season . Derek Carr been blowing leads all season n tha time we didn’t blow leads was probably because we neva had tha lead from tha jump cause we always playin from behind . N by tha way Jameis Winston gave us an Otto win that game he made plays and got us in field goal range to win tha game but ig a field goal kicker missing a 43 yard field goal to win the game is jameis fault
This was a great addition for Atlanta but make no mistake, Carr is the BEST QB in the division. Carr was behind a terrible O line and Pete Carmichael was in way over his head. Hopefully Kubiak will be able to make the most out of Carr. I really think the problem with the Saints is going to be their ageing defense.

We can not allow excuses for the New Orleans Saints. Kubiak has to come in to make an immediate impact with offense. We are aging and have young talent that still have grow. The defense aganst teams .500 and above was atrocious.
