It sounds like they learnt their operations from playing Planet Coaster, where everyone has to be off the platform before the air gates open, so frustrating for the operations on my 800ft Giovanola
One of the worst parts of PC. Especially when the exit is so far away from the riders. Why can’t it be when they get off the ride? Saves time. Even RCT3 isn’t that bad I think.
Damn, I was really looking forward to the Yas Waterworld video. That looks like one of the coolest water parks in the world and there aren’t many videos about it
Before I forget. A torch is the British word for a Flashlight. I can speak from my own recent trip to the UAE that a ton and I mean a ton of the tourism to there is from the UK. Also a large chunk from other commonwealth countries like India and Australia.
I just love how you showed that this park had so much more than roller coaster or rides! You shows that you need to spend two days here just to get the full experience! I’ve always loved the Seaworld but this made me have an other appreciation for this company! Love the vlogs and the series! Cant wait for day 2 of Ferrari world!
19:45 a torch the Britainism word for flashlight. I actually use it all the time for the flashlight on my iPhone because it’s faster than saying flashlight
Using flashlight is tainted by fleshlights being a thing haha. Torch is just way easier to say. And flashlight is non-sensical for a constant light anyway
Your issue with operational efficiency here reminds me of Japan. Their obsession with safety briefings and ensuring no loose articles, along with other very regimented “no exceptions” ops, really detracted from the ride experience.
This is setting new standards for what an indoor park should be IMO. There is so much potential for indoor parks, and this is the only one I’ve seen that actually tries to utilize its indoor setting to its advantage
Something similar happened to me on Steel Vengeance last time i rode as far as the grouper situation. At least in 2021 when the new lockers were installed they would pulse people down the hallway towards where the split for the lockers and metal detectors are. The grouper there was sending only a few people at a time so trains were going out more than half empty and the line was close to 3 hours. My mom and i were even asked by the ride ops in the station if the queue was just empty or what because they didn't know what was going on.
14:33 Happened to DC Rivals over the Australian Peak Summer crowds, plenty of news articles about it with some footage of it, just a ride stoppage thankfully and reopened the next day! Great vlog & awesome coasters and parks.
Just in reference to 18:50 Yes Taylor you are correct, all dolphins that reside in SeaWorld Abu Dhabi are dolphins that used to live across all 3 SeaWorld Parks in the United States, including Discovery Cove in Orlando.
That manatee-looking dude at 2:24 is a dugong, one of the rarest animals you will ever see. There's like two or three places in the world that keep one. As a zoo nerd, I'd travel out to the desert just for that.
Great video! I really enjoyed watching this! Yeah it makes me wonder if someone ever had a torch in that restaurant 😅 Great park! Nice animals! Im looking forward to the next episode!
How about adding an aspect of journalism to your videos and asking the park for a statement about those operations? Maybe also as a separate video where you talk about answers of parks to the things you noticed that weren't so great? I'm sure they have press contacts you could direct your questions to.
Six Flags and Busch Gardens, Even with spieling to guests and depending on the park, still have horrible operations. I still cant believe the times I see when Iron Gwazi is loaded since day one of operation and one train ops on busy days is just CRAZY to me. SFOG for some reason think this is ok when its not. I swear every park needs to learn Universal and Disney with Operations are supposed to be done. Actually CP and Kings Island do a very good job too, but not like in their heydays in the 90s and 2000s.
I still would've done Yas Waterworld as it looks to be one of the most underrated waterparks in the world. When the time comes for you to return to Abu Dhabi for Formula Rossa at Ferrari World, that may be the perfect time to visit that park as well.
Are there any rides that as middle row rides? You'd think the layouts would be designed for the centre of mass of the train and in theory you should be able to get the optimal airtime duration in the middle. Although I've never found one where that's the case
Good question! We obviously really want to visit but there’s just so much there and frankly the country intimidates us because of how different it is that we’re hesitant to do a big trip there. I know we will one day but it’s not something we’re currently planning.
My theory is that they run intentionally slow because there isn’t that many people in line and they don’t want people to ‘reride’ too much.. those 4 rides on manta would have been like 8-10 if they were running efficiently.
@@maxhagenauer24 idk, personally I would never go there, since I actually believe in human rights and don’t support putting people in jail just because they’re gay
with the exception of DC at Warner Bros or Ferrari land it doesn't offer something unique that draws European, Asian and US tourists away from Disney, Universal, Phantasialand,... Definitely though Dubai and Abu Dhabi is on my bucket list, but besides the fastest rollercoaster in the world at the Ferrari park it lacks world-class attractions on the level of Disney and Universal
These Parks are huge but many don't receive the attendance that would justify their investment. Everyone got a little too happy with investments and now there's too many fish in a too little pond. These parks do also generally cost a lot, almost 100 USD in many cases, which is at least twice what you would pay for more well rounded and complete theme parks elsewhere, especially in Europe. I myself know I had to cut my dubai visit down to just 2 parks to visit and I ended up going to Motiongate and Atlantis. And even then Motiongate felt quite incomplete imo and not really deserving the price tag
I wonder if a B&M mini hyper and Intamin gyro swing would be enough of a lineup to draw crowds like 10,000 or more. The secret base may or not be near the Great Lakes. The mini hyper starts like Rougarou. 145, 137, 167, 157 no trim brake steeper drop. I can neither confirm nor deny that the secret base is near the Great Lakes. Speed hill, turnaround, speed hill, camelback, twister section. The location of the secret base is not information I am privy to. How about that Mantis...color scheme
I will say that the exhibits and enclosures seem very big and the animals seem well taken care of. There's always negativity regarding zoos and aquariums but this place has really made sure the exhibits are amazing for the animals.
They can afford a vanity project that doesn't make money. Meanwhile, SeaWorld San Diego is seeing how long they can go without paying rent to the city.
Come back to Australia when flash speed force opens you might see me there I'm only 14 and I love dc rivals so you should come back and meet me my family I been watching the channel for over a year now and I love your content so pl come back and you didn't get to ride super man so you should come back and I might even be on the same ride as you when you making th video my name is jett mottershead
Seems like it's all seaworld owned parks just don't care about operations... Each one I've been at has been extremely poor. Probably international to not train the employees to be efficient so they can save a little $ running less trains... sad
Torch = Flashlight and sometimes a cigarette lighter
Good combo.
Saved me the trouble… 😏👏🤘
Right, they've been to the UK and mainland Europe, and yet...
@@jamaidian1 I was thinking the same thing🙄🤣
@jamaidian1 I just watch top gear and BBC....along with Emma Cruises...on you tube.

Goes to show what seaworld can do if they had the budget! I could only imagine if they did something similar in Orlando

the dramatic music over the slo-mo sloth made my day

FYI, the British use the word "torch" to mean "electric flashlight."
Those operations are terrible. I don't know if its laziness, bad management, or overally strick policies but it takes away from thhe experience.
Great video! I really enjoyed watching this! Yeah it makes me wonder if someone ever had a torch in that restaurant 😅 Great park! Nice animals! Im looking forward to the next episode!
I don't know If you've seen some other comments yet, but "torch" is a common way to say Flashlight in the UK.
@ShockinSammy Oh I didn't know that. No I just commented that. I didn't read anyone else's comments. It's funny though lol.
4:36 oh there she is
16:50, if your wondering where mantis at cedar point went, there it is.
14:30 DC Rivals was evac'd from the lift hill earlier this year for that exact reason
The Trueman show with animals! That aside content is brilliant
The park looks great. Will wait until they add a few more coasters before making the hike out there.
more marine life is what I am hoping for. Would love to see beluga and orca whales at the park.

That bird that was eating while Sarah was talking to it actually stopped eating and looked like it was trying to understand what she was saying. Lol
I kind of sad that you dont go to yash water park
Horrible operations *cough cough* Nagashima Spa Land, Mt Olympus, & SeaWorld San Antonio
Ohhh good old Nagashima

You'd think the layouts would be designed for the centre of mass of the train and in theory you should be able to get the optimal airtime duration in the middle. Although I've never found one where that's the case
Because that’s meant to be the most consistent part of the train. The back and front have more whip/force in unexpected places making it more fun
Now we wait for Six Flags Qiddiya
9:12 EFF the froot loops, it’s all a lie!! It’s always been Veggie Cubes lol
How many more coast'n the desert are there left?
Six more! One more in the Emirates, 3 in Qatar, and 2 in Egypt!
When are ya'll going to do Coastin' Thru China?
