I hated the 30-30 when it first came out. I couldn't get used to the shot cadence and the bullet drop. I forced myself to use it in arenas a few seasons ago though and now it's one of my go to pick ups.
Thats the same with me except i was using the car and triple take
I tell people that if you can master the Bocek, you can master the Dirty 30, and vice versa. I personally find the cadence and drop similar, and I find that so many people hate one but love the other.
30-30 can be annoying as fuck in arenas and that's why I spam that shit LoL

The 30 30 is heavily underrated I just started using it and it hits so hard
So as an archer, I just want to say that little pop you hear from the bocek that's for leathal tempo timing is actually a thing with real compound bows as well, it's from the draw stops hitting the set draw length of the bow.
Also bocek doesn't have that much bullet drop (or at least it's VERY linear and predictable) till you get out to further ranges because of how fast the projectile is, I can't use other marksman weapons, but a lot of shots I've hit with it are insane, also also shatter caps basically allows you to have a close range shotgun and a long range weapon in one (when 30-30 has shattercaps it's also kinda nutty), ideal setup would be gold mag on your main gun so you can pull out the bocek, spam a few shattercaps till your mag reloads, then go back.
Damn i hope the Bocek returns to the ground soon, its pretty cool to use

The 30-30 has always been a good gun, i see it as a wingman that is better at long range. Ever since they added dual shell into the gun (previous season needed the hop up) the thing is just busted, i can only hope we get bow back from care package and 30-30 goes in.

Also; random but the Silver Lining 3030 Skin from Loba Edition is a very clean iron sight removing the side screw and opening the center profile a bit

I'm a mobile player but 30-30 is my favorite gun in the game period. Everything that ottr said is so helpful but I khew most of it.i khow people don't like 30-30 because of the bullet drop but if you just use the gun more you're gonna get used to it

Didnt see it mentioned in the video but when using 3x and up scopes the horizontal lines are for aiming when someone is running to a side. line up with corresponding distance dot with the horizontal direction the target is running.
Every time I try the reload cancel it’s like there is a delay on my weapon switch
I dont think the G7 has bad iron sights, I mean, they're not great, but they're not terrible. It's one of my go-to weapons off drop if I can find it.

There is a pay to lose skin for the bocheck, there was a legendary battle pass skin that will mess your iron sights when you use sights
I kinda miss the days you could run a 30 30 with shatter caps and have a close and long range option with one guy. I'm kind of a sicker for dynamic shit like that.
Does Ottr not know about the farther distance target in the firing range? There’s one way farther than the one he keeps aiming at. It’s kinda by the ship in the back right side - from entering the firing range perspective

Is it just me or do some scopes take slightly longer to draw up to your view? Like I'm certain the 3x is faster than the 2-4x but maybe that's just me. It's like putting a digital threat on a wingman too
i think theyre the same speed its just an illusion caused by the different sizes of the scopes making the distance from the centre look smaller/bigger
@@alexseisimonetti1382 maybe you are right, I haven't timed them but I wound up just getting used to iron sights for a lot of guns because it seemed to help for close quarters ADS speed
That's why I avoid the g7 and the 30-30 unless I have a sight already
I'm pretty sure that's only a thing for sniper scopes. Which is why I only pick up a 3x/2-4x max even for sniper rifles now lol
I do miss the rangefinder though...
Respawn needs to fix the 30-30. You cannot ADS while hipfiring. It's locked into hipfire if you're shooting

The first marker on the 1X-2X Variable Holo is not 175m for the Scout. It way overshoots at 175. It seems to be around 375m, same as the 2X Bruiser.

where can i see these stats for damage etc on of a weapon you are using in your video ? i.e. 8:39
there is data like mobility, vertical recoil, horizontal recoil, hip fire accuracy and and diagram how much damage it is dealing on hea, body and legs

Yeah enemies can push close where those weapons won’t be very effective, but if you can poke at them from a distance, you can make them waste resources and maybe even take them down before they get too close

I love the 30-30 but for whatever reason I can't use it close range in any way, shape, or form. Its literally impossible for me to match their movement compared to a full auto gun like r99. Why is that?
I’m dad the bokek went in the care package. I spend most of season 12 & 13 getting hot with it then when I came back season 15 it’s gone 😢

only 21 damage per bullet is so low, this is why no one picks up the tripletake. it needs some love.
imagine 30-40 damage and if you hit with a choke 120 damage 🙂

tiple take does more damage than a fully charged 30-30 without skullpiercer. in addition to that a triple take is much much stronger in close range combats than a 3030. i don't even know how often i killed people in close combad with two shots only.
Cant lie the triple take is underated its might as well be a shotgun because of its consistent damage at any range ive clutched many fights in 1v3s with it and even killed the 3rd parties coming to finish us off it also has decent iron sights on any skin
I do not like the double tap at all on the g7 my recoil control is bad with it
tip for bocek : it has no recoil so trick your opponent into strafing with their gun that has recoil as you stand still hitting him for near 90% accuracy (its like shooting the moving targets at firing range) , 2 arrows and they will run away
How do you trick someone into strafing?
@@doughnutboyo6922 strafe yourself left right then stop and aim , you will have a 2 to 4 sec window of them self strafing while you shoot holes into them
I wish they'd buff Triple Take by letting you rotate the fire pattern...They also should start leaning into "Hybrid Weapon" design philosophy since it's right in front of them. Hybrid weapons combine handling traits from two weapon categories instead of one. EG: Wingman is a Shotgun/Marksman, Prowler is Shotgun/SMG, TripleTake is Shotgun/Marksman. They should start trying to push this hybrid category even further by tweaking traits. EG: increasing burst rate and burst delay on prowler, horizontal pattern select fire for TripleTake. Also, wtf can you put anything over a 3x on a charge rifle?

The g7 does not shot fully auto, it's semi auto, since it's one bullet per trigger pull
I wish more guns had actually useful ranges marked on the scopes. Engaging targets past 400m is basically pointless with a marksman weapon because of how slow the projectiles travel, yet many of the scopes only start at 300m and go way past that while not having markings for 100m and / or 200m. It's supposed to be a far-future setting yet scope design has gone backwards compared to the 21st century smh.

For everyone wanting to use the double tap on eva-8 or scout:
Just don't. It is very weak and even with the buffs the G-7 got with it, its still not worth it. It will throw you off more times that it actually benefits you and specially on the eva-8 it significantly weakens the weapon by a ton!
Never use it and don't even bother picking it up. You have FAR more control over your shots without it. Also, you will run out of ammo alot faster while missing more shots(!)
So turn it on at closer range, a close range g7 with double tap drops people so does the eva
@@AmmoRevives Not really. Even if you hit your shots, the downtime between shots is just FAR too long and if you miss just one shot, you're done for.

The worst thing about the 3030 is this horrible muzzle flash. It just hurts to see any i mostly don't use this gun because of it. The second worst thing are the skins... there is just ONE - kind of - pay to win skin for it and thats the "wild west" skin.

The best scope for every sniper and marksman rifles is the clear 2x scope. The only exception is the charge rifle or if you use vantage for snipers but other then that its the clear 2x scope.
nah that’s close-mid range. 3x or 2x/4x, especially for snipers that are best for mid-long range.
The G7 is not full auto
