      Its kinda same for me but i also understand, its like i dont like to memorize the name of the chords cuz sometimes its too long or kinda same name but i remember the chord patterns through seeing and listening.

    Personally speaking I find the sub-interval of the dominant tonic to function as an augmented chromatic ascending harmonic tonal voicing but only if the root is suspended and diminished. ... haha 😉

    It took me two years to learn the coicings and the quality and order of each interval I have under my fingers...
    Now I see that you can ommit the root and shift these voicings to get minor out of major and so forth...!
    I wonder when this rabbit hole is going to become crystal clear😢😂

      @@JensLarsen yes, taking into account the intervals created by the voice leadings as they move with each other, for instance, do you favor repeating successive thirds and sixths over parallel perfect intervals when voice leading (or is that a more classical take)? Thanks!

    I learned theory early on in life when my parents made me start playing classical guitar. It was 15 years of non stop studying, class, exams, and hard work.
    I'm now 37 years old now and I still don't know what I'm doing. I just pirate Guitar Pro.
