Sir as you have said that rbi had the forex reserve of about $380 billion dollar and the liabiltiy it had, was of $30 billion dollars then why did it went for the swap to solve the problem. we could have managed without giving back any interest. pls reply

no lady! 100% is only for those equipments for which India has no expertise in making. It is exception for few equipments and not a normal sectoral limit. eg Rafale jet (if made in India).
