• The Country House Reve... First broadcast: 07 Jun 2011. Episode 5/6 Featuring Clandeboye House, filled with unique artefacts collected in the Victorian era.
Lindy was married to Sheridan in 1964 in Westminster Abbey. It turned out that Sheridan was actually gay, and he very sadly died of an AIDs related illness in 1988. In his will left the entire estate of Clandeboye to Lindy, where she remains to this day (May 2020). Such a lovely woman.
Inspiring Clandeboye house, especially the arms and armament entryway. The use of twisted chicken wire to display the weaponry is absolutely brilliant!
gary llamido you should visit Amer Fort in Jaipur, India; their display of medieval to modern weaponry is breathtaking and unparalleled , this is nothing by comparison
The old dame is a live one, isn’t she ? “So-and-so? Oh, he was divine.” Imagine still thinking that way at her age. A girl of high spirits, to be sure.
I love how she explained his mysterious signature as “you were drunk, you were drunk” 😂😂😂
@Aaron Stipek
Wtf I see you on every video I post on you fucking dumbass.
I'm just enchanted by her accent. So beautiful.

Her accent is so very posh! I love it!
She was born in Scotland. However she mostly grew up in Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire.

7:07 - "they had no interest in art or literature" = that makes them a perfect candidate for programming controller at ITV then in 2021.
6:00 Who knows what kind of music is playing in the background. Sounds very familiar.
It took me a bit of effort to find the piece: Dmitri Shostakovich - The Second Waltz
He hit that before
What does that mean?
@@thibomeurkens2296 meaning he was once romantically involved. It's a joke

Began this with... that's a beautiful house.. And it went to.. 😱 With the stuffed bears and weapons. Uh.. Nope
Cruickshank is OTT. Irritating way of speaking, overly dramatic.

So in love with the sound of his own voice. Also he constantly interrupts his interviewees on this series.
