Hey Jackie, I noticed with a couple of my fragrances that I got from discount sites that when I got it they smelled like they had ammonia in them when I got it. Tiziana Terenzi was one of them. I almost got rid of it. Then I read or saw somewhere that because they’ve been sitting in a warehouse when you get it, you need to spray it like 10-15 times. Then go back to it a few days later. I did that and it worked and I haven’t had an issue since. Try that with Andromeda and see if that works. If not then let it go 😂
I do that with ALL my fragrances. I’ve learned a couple of years from/bc of the few Oakcha bottles I bought. I originally thought they were “okay” on initial blast. I unintentionally “let it sit” for a month and when I went to spray it again, it was like night & day!! I immediately did some research and it was then that I learned of the word “macerate” aka as oxidizing. I was so excited & on to something! I learned through trial and “error” to never, not ever, judge a perfume off of first few sprays. That said, I don’t pay too much attention on unboxing and first impression videos.
I did spray it several times when I first got it then let it sit. It’s been about a month now and it definitely is getting better. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 ❤️
I love this tag!!❤ I also adore Scandal!! But, if I attempted to ACT sexy at this age, it would border on the ridiculous! That being said, I AM sexy. There’s a difference 😊
I agree with you about Daisy! I have it and just can’t get rid of it. Also agree that Hufflepuff is overhyped. I’d add Triumph of Bacchus and anything by Navitus to that. I get the feeling that some perfume reviewers are trying to get noticed by the perfumers to be next in line to get their own fragrance too (or to get pr packages).
Triumph of Bacchus is one of my all time favorites. I really believe it is a masterpiece! I have genuinely been enjoying most of navitus releases too. It has absolutely nothing to do with getting my own fragrance. I love gourmands, and navitus does amazing gourmands. Sometimes a spade is just a spade.
You and Ayesha never wearing Delina Exclusif is mind-boggling to me because I had to make myself stop grabbing for it 😂😂😂 This was so much fun to watch! Thanks for sharing 💙

I’ve been into perfumes most of my life, this was one of my favs in the mid 2000’a when things really started changing! I loved your choices. I’m probably nostalgic with No.5 as well. Escapade Gourmand seems to get better over time. I wasn't impressed when I first bought it (blind buy). It smells good, but it wasn't mind blowing. After sitting for a few months, it definitely smelled stronger and more gourmand and was no longer boring smelling.

Unfortunately, Hufflepuff has terrible performance on me - 1 to 2 hours max. I feel like I’m “wasting” expensive juice. It has great performance on my 10 yr old daughter & bc she loves it, I ended up giving it to her. (Same week I gave my 7 yr old daughter Goddess bc she “ loves it too much!”) 😆 Try layering with Iced Lemon Pound Cake or EOS Vanilla Cashmere. So good! Something about HP & kids - they LOVE it! My (very shy) daughter says “my friends always tell me I smell good.”😆 Hey, if it makes her smell good and feel good - I’m all for it!

I know you said that no one does Vanilla like Guerlain and I have never tried either of these design houses.....have stayed with niche. They are very different. SDV is a boozy woody vanilla and Libre intense is a white floral vanilla with lavender. Both great though!
