Saw this performed live in around 2003 in Philly at the TLA. It’s their bassist from that time. He was leaving the band, and that was his last show with them. He played this as their final encore. It was an amazing moment for 16 yr old me. I’ll never forget it.
Dude.. what you've got in your memories.. it's priceless. You have no idea the peace and joy your comment has brought to me, despite I've never been to their concert and I've just discover this band right now (Im the biggest fan of the old Norma jean, but I never knew about this band, and their featuring with Norma).. but, loving music as I do, I'm really happy that someone keeps that kind of insanely beautiful moemories that some good day occurred.. that someone keeps those memories within them and treasure them.. gives me some kind of nostalgic love for life. Good for you!! Best wishes.
Woww, I'd never noticed before that "I Never Said I Was Brave" from their first album [called "I Never Said I Was Brave" 2001] is NOT the same as the one from a-->b: Life 2002 ! they actually changed the word "pink" to "white" !
You might sleep, but you'll never dream Onward! Progress! Or so it seems. You might laugh, but you'll never smile. Come on in and waste away awhile. When dreams of rings of flowers fade and blur Giving way to that familiar ill come over and part your soft white curtains Where I'm waiting for you still If you'd unlatch the window, If you'd let me lay there on your floor If you'd give me another chance, If you'd forget the pain I caused before No use in saying how I'm sorry So I'm trying not to speak I'll sing in silence, lay beside you With my face there on your cheek My stomach swears there's comfort there In the warmth of the blankets on your bed My stomach's always been a liar- I'll believe it's lies again.

Oh, I didn’t know this was a Smashing Pumpkins song
You might sleep, but you'll never dream
Onward! Progress! Or so it seems.
You might laugh, but you'll never smile.
Come on in and waste away awhile.
When dreams of rings of flowers fade and blur
Giving way to that familiar ill
come over and part your soft white curtains
Where I'm waiting for you still
If you'd unlatch the window,
If you'd let me lay there on your floor
If you'd give me another chance,
If you'd forget the pain I caused before
No use in saying how I'm sorry
So I'm trying not to speak
I'll sing in silence, lay beside you
With my face there on your cheek
My stomach swears there's comfort there
In the warmth of the blankets on your bed
My stomach's always been a liar-
I'll believe it's lies again.
who sings this?
Daniel Pishok
Does anyone know who sings this? It does not sound like Aaron. I've seen some speculation that it is Mike singing, but no one seems to be sure.
@bgraszer I heard it was Aarons brother
mike sings on this
It's their old bassist Dan.
