3:07 That makes perfect sense now as to why the dragonflies are chonky. I always wondered why they look so much larger than Sparx. I love that I know the reason why now! 😄
Just when I thought there couldn’t be any other mysterious to uncover about this game ! Such an interesting watch, thanks for taking the time to document all the things about ETD!
5:58 the PS2 manual showed Spyro looking at this castle with its door open. As a kid, I thought this meant it was possible to get inside. I tried and tried to the point that I dreamt about it. But alas, it wasn't possible.
In earlier builds it actually was possible to enter the castle as they left the castle door open with a modeled interior. The interior was what was used in the 2nd cutscene. The final game has nothing inside the castle.
@@MrFO1 9:57 What Enchanted Forest? Did you mean Enchanted Towers? 10:55 You didnt mention that this line by Sparx is also heard when you go past the Ice Breath gate.
Thanks to all of your videos, especially the documentary, it motivated me to go back and play this game as I never got to beat it when I played it in my Childhood. I myself experienced that weird way they do Zoe's respawn system when I was playing Cloud 9. I like what you're doing for this game and it's been a lot fun to get to see all of the information and facts you've uncovered.
I knew about some of these, especially the extra gems from the plane minigame. I ended with 2 extra, and it actually shows up on the total. Not being able to exit out of the Ripto fight is why I didn't finish the game the first time I played it. I still had to do Jurassic Jungle and I wasn't ready to fight Ripto (I thought the portal was to another level), but I couldn't do anything. Another thing not mentioned here is that the Thieves use the same laugh from Spyro 1, which is just Carlos Alazraqui's voice sped up. Since Tom Kenny does their speaking voice, this means the thieves are voiced by two of Spyro's VAs.
Toys For Bob has shown they have what it takes; they could definitely remaster and fix this game. I know it was a steaming pile back when I played it but I still had a blast and the music was amazing. I would love them to give it a proper release. Also I still wanna know where those last few gems for the Thieves Den are, because I never found them.
I love that this is considered the worst game out of all of the earlier Spyro games and there is so much to be learned about it. Personally it's my favorite, I got so nostalgic when I put it onto my emulator. Despite the bad rep, I'll always love this shitty game 🤣
With each of the levels being based on different cultures around the world, it makes me wish people would talk about the good things about this game instead of only focusing on the negitive.
it's annoying that sparx repetes the power ups and getting butterflies and those glitches if they kept their time on making this it'll be 100% better then it is now their were going to make spyro older add weather and others but the owner said no
Thank you for documenting so much about this game.

"If they were adults, why couldn't they solve their problems?"
*Looks at the absolute state of the world* Yep seems legit
I love all the secrets and oddities that are uncovered in these games.

I actually love this game despite how broken and unfinished it is. It was one of my intros to Spyro.
It was my exit from Spyro as a kid! After playing the original trilogy, it was clear something was wrong... Glad I hopped over to Ratchet and Clank!
11:19 surprised they gave Zoe panties instead of the black void games usually do.

Great job for all your hard work documenting this game
Great video, as always
At this point, I really hope you can find 100 things!
Oh don’t worry, there’s a huge sequel coming to this video that delves into even deeper obscure facts about the game.
@@MrFO1 yess!!!!!

Thank you so very much for this documenting about this game and can't wait of discovery new things about this game
I will always read the "6" logo for Check Six as a letter "G".

gonna sound dumb, but has sparx been actually talking this whole time? i thought he was just makin buzz buzz noises
Haha, he does actually say the words if you listen closely even in Spyro 3.

I don't know why I gasped at the one about Hunter when he hops into the sky

NGL, Jonathan Taylor Thomas would do a great job as Spyro in a movie.
So would Elijah Wood.
