You can't change you birthday within 360 days of a rewards WG states. So no birthday reward then change it to next month and new reward. So only possible change I see possible is wait say 1 month after your birthday and then change it to day before the day you are on ie you have moved birthday by 13 months not 1 month as date has gone by.

my big santa containers were dogshit this year, i've had 13 of them at this point, and 4 had credits. 1 ship, boosters, and 180 premium days. And the other day i openned a lot of regular santa containers and got aditional 60 days of premium. I'm not so upset now
You can get extra premium time in your main account by playing in the test servers when it's open, u can actually get some good things : containers that gives u one day of premium account granted, community tokens which you can exchange for some nice things in the shop, camouflages, coal and credits. And on top of that you can test tech tree ships before you go for them in your main account.
I've always bought these. It's one of the very few solid values in this game. If players save carefully through the year, you can even earn these doubloons free over the year. Through a year, it just boosts so much
I've only been playing for 4-5 years, unlike many old-timers, and have only once brought Premium time, 90 days when I first started. My advice to players is this, if you don't spend money on events, (Dock Yards and the like), if you don't buy Santa or Black Friday containers, then you should absolutely buy a year's worth of Premium time. If however, you do drop cash on these events, and it doesn't have to be a great deal, you'll probably never need to. I haven't and currently have over 500 days and that’s with selling a bunch last spring in some event. This is just my humble opinion, please feel free to make it yours.
I think that premium time is the best quality-of-life improvement in the game, for the economic reasons you mentioned, and this is by far the best way to buy premium time. Thanks for making these videos to share tips with us!
I'm mad I learned about the Birthday thing like an hour after I came back and set my birthdate after not playing for a couple years. And being an early January birthday it's /just/ outside the window.
I got 180premium days followed by 180 premium days in a container sooooo.....And Ive heard a LOT off ppl got that as well. So its definitely not for everyone.
I find that get enough Premium time through crates. Currently on 800+, I was down to around 600 before this event. Am at 50+ slots from purely what picked up in battle pass and the daily challenges before hand. If play casually then perhaps the premium time is best buy but if play regularly, I usually play every day and at the moment do the 7 games a day which is enough to collect both decorations for the tree, collect the advent calendar and get at least 2 of the 3 daily containers. I use my 30% anniversary discount and 100% birthday for doubloons So is best. Aloe only if not picking up premium time through playing the game, ie very new players. Once built a fleet up then you get coal and steel from them, and get the Santa containers, as build up fleet get more tx and even more gifts so more containers. For ranked then you have to be damn good, or very lucky to get to gold. I just do the bronze wins and that is stressful enough with the other players there.
and i still will not buy on 50%. why ? i can do nothing against wargaming giving bad rng and bad matchmaking. i dont spend money to be the slave of wargaming. biggest shit fake game. dont trust cc streamers who get special matchmaking and playing against bots.

I found you have to spend way too much time for what you get in return. My time is better spent just leveling up stuff in the real game.
@thengine7 I play maximum 10 games during test session, enough to get all the important tasks that brings good rewards
The test server is the way to go when you can upgrade a line to see if you like it to do on the live account
